It's a good line up. Pity that it's only a 28 draw (instead of 32).

Anyone know when the WC will be announced? Since i've read that Pim Pim has asked for a WC to this tournament it would be great to see him back in action :)

Would be a joke if Johansson would get a WC...

Will Verdasco play ? He's got a foot surgery this week..he could be out.

I thought Verdasco's going back to training this week without any foot surgery.

His management already confirmed that he will be coming to KL.

And why is that?

Because we can hardly take this guy serious. Once in a while plays a match or two, retires and then is out for a few months. TOugh for him, but would be ridiculous if they'd give a WC to him. Dent, for one, is a much better choice.

I read that Pim Pim indeed got a WC for this tournament. :) excellent will be great to see him in action again!

And Ad Wim, and because of that he shouldn't get a chance to play at all? He's feeling better and better and his game is really coming along according to his blog site. :) So i'm happy to see him there and hopefully there will be some livestreams avaliable aswell.

There are a lot of CH to start with if he wants to play  Accumulating points and climbing in rankings will take him to the ATP events. There are enough part-time tennis players in the circuit already.

No, he's here. I'm pretty sure I saw him at the stadium yesterday and my friend who's in charge of airport pickups said that Youzhny already arrived.

from the tournament's official twitter:

KLopentennis: We have Tomas Berdych to thank for our great main draw... Berdych vs Kunitsyn, Gasquet vs Crivoi, Lu vs Baghdatis... and that's only in R1!
