Clay season is over and Viktor is moving onto grass court.

He is in both singles and doubles (with Djokovic) in Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany.

tough draw - Kiefer, then possibly Melzer - but could win both if he can get his serve going. Should definately be more dangerous on the green stuff than the red....

Up a break but already but Kiefer is not at the top of his game. Needs to improve his bp conversion. No problem with his serve so far.

Other than excellent serve by Kiefer, I really can't say much. Viktor is totally lost on the court there and I have no idea why. :awww:

Match ended with Viktor's forehand into the net. *sigh*

He left the court immediately, without even putting his racket into his bag. :tape:

Someone stole both of my credit cards either Friday or Saturday, a Visa and an AMEX. They maxed out the Visa because the limit is not very high, and that's how I found out, because the Visa people called me. The charges will be reversed and I will get my new card by tomorrow (the charges take 2 weeks to reverse though) and on my AMEX i caught them after they had made two purchases, and those will be reversed, but luckily AMEX is a little bit faster than Visa and I got my new card this morning (and they were unable to max that one out so even though it might take a while to reverse the charges, I *do* still have some credit on that one if necessary. :tape:

That really sucks when you're travelling!

That's why I checked my credit card accounts on line EVERYDAY!

Lee

I had a panic moment yesterday when my beloved AMEX was not in my wallet when I tried to make a payment.

Later I found it in one of the compartments in my purse. *phew*

Visa called because the card max out or because of suspicious transaction?

I remembered not long after we moved here with our brand new Visa and we bought my first desk top here in an electronic store. We ended up spending more than 15 minutes calling Visa letting them know that's really me there using my Visa to buy the computer

Suspicious activity. The lady was funny. She was like "There were just some transactions that made us think, 'Well gosh! This doesn't seem like Jessica!'" :rolls:

The thief spent $500 at Staples and $400 at CVS :tape: then they tried to spend $400 more at CVS on a different card but I was too fast for them. :)

Viktor has a not so easy draw :( First round Brian Dabul (ARG) but 2nd round will likely be Dent and Murray in 3rd :help:

savesthedizzle
06-19-2009, 11:34 PM
Dabul is very easy draw for first round, but yes, second and third are not good. He can beat Dent though as long as he too is aggressive because Taylor serve volleys every single point, so Viktor cannot be too passive or it will be ugly.

Hold on ladies, I am going to type up a bit on Viktor's doubles from today because he was in a feisty mood :haha:

savesthedizzle
06-24-2009, 11:30 PM
Okay so I get there in the second set :D Everything is going well, but Viktor seems angry with something. I see it building up and building up inside of him, boiling just underneath the surface and then... the chair makes an awful awful awful overrule. A ball called in, was well in and it was overruled. And VIktor was not going to have any of that, so he starts arguing and tells the chair that there were like 5-6 bad calls. Meanwhile Tursunov/Kunitsyn are hanging around the net, kind of nodding, totally agreeing even :rolls:

So then a few games later, they play a point and in the end a ball is called out, and Viktor is like, "OMG COME ON HERE." and the chair is like "viktor, it was out." and he's like "NO, OBVIOUSLY. I MEAN THE LET. DID YOU NOT HEAR THE LET." And the guy was like, well the machine didn't go off. And Viktor is like "BUT DID YOU HEAR IT HIT THE NET." and he's like "The machine didn't go off." so Viktor is like, "IGOR. DID YOU HEAR IT." :rolls: And Kunitsyn is like  "yeah." and they start discussing how this missed let call was even worse than some previous missed let call :rolls: Eventually Viktor goes to the chair, "WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE?" :rolls: and so Tursunov is like laughing and goes to Viktor, "Because they need someone to sit in the chair. It's tradition" :rolls: and then Viktor starts laughing and they start to play again. There's a considerable bit more arguing throughout the match :rolls: and then Viktor's team finally wins and you know they all shake hands :haha: but when Viktor and Tursunov go to shake, they do, but they also kind of chitchat at the net and were discussing about whether to shake the chair's hand or not. Like kind of, "Well are you going to do it? If you don't I won't." but then in the end they both did :rolls:

So it was fun to watch :D

savesthedizzle
06-24-2009, 11:32 PM
Every time it was time for new balls also, Tursunov was like... giving them away to kids and stuff and the chair was like "Dmitry, don't." and then he just continued to do it. :rolls: So then at one ball change, he's like, "Can I just whack one out of here?" and the chair is like "No! You are already gave out enough." so then Dmitry just takes the balls and hands out more of them :rolls: I think every kid watching left with a ball :rolls:

Lady, I had 3 hours sleep last night and was on the road for more than 10 hours. So it took me a few minutes after reading your posts to figure out you're talking about Viktor's doubles match. :o :o :o
