First time ever in a 4th round for the Toad and he was hitting some big forehands out there.

Came back from 2-4 down in the TB.

Match up with his good friend Nadal next.

Ferrer wasn't going to be beating Nadal anyway.

Pics smashed his racquet after he lost and he got the chorus music from the crowd. Quite an entertaining match.

Söderling has beaten Ferrer on clay a few times, his game when on matches up well with Ferrer.

He was able to dominate the rallies and I am surprised he didn't meltdown in the 4th set tiebreaker.

But unfortunately he is not very good on his physical condition, as he had medical timeout at 6-5 on 4th set.

But he won´t be humilliated, who cares about losing 0 0 0 or 4 4 4 what is important is that he reaches 4th round.
Ferrer wasn´t palying good, I couldn´t see he doing nothing against Nadal too.

I believe the scorelien will be something like 6 4 6 2 62

Soderling just needs to shake up Nadal and out-do his wimbledon antics from 2 years ago. He needs to be a complete asshole, see how Nadal handles it. It's his only chance really.

Definitely, the top 10 isn't too far away for Söderling. If there was an indoor Slam than maybe, but it's about time he got past the 3rd round of a Slam.

He is a man of the people, time to make the next step.

He has been working with Magnus Norman since the start of this year? One thing Norman was in his playing days, was a big fighter.

Would be funny if the Toad could start well, the French will really get behind him.

I missed that one.

I always said carlsson (no idea if this is the correct spelling btw) seemed to be bad for him mentally. any time toad was choking he used to sit in the stand with his head in his hands like "oh fuck here we go again" seemingly never offering any encouragement. he looked more nervous than toad most of the time.

Yes, that is the right spelling for Peter Carlsson, well the Toad has had some great meltdowns and going on big runs of losing games in a row.

Hence this result was a surprise, against one of the biggest fighters on tour in a tough match.
