Slow hardcourt.

take away andy's serve, then robredo

tennis is the winner.

When do they play? In the US Open?

take away andy's serve, then robredo

Not really, his serve was nowhere in Rome last year and he kept doing suicidal net rushes yet somehow won.

The H2H is 10-0 to Andy I believe, so he has the huge mental advantage, and if he serves well, then it's goodbye Tommy.

Roddick in three, maybe four.

Robredo is to Roddick what Roddick is to Federer. Robredo cant beat Roddick even if he is serving all the time, Robredo is the only player in the atptour I would be happy if he announced his retirement, he is a waste and defeats everybody ranked lower than him with his (real) moonballs while losing in straights to anyone who is ranked above him.

so your setting us up for an answer then

have you ever actually seen their matches? Andy even beats him from the baseline.

You're obviously looking for the "Roddick is all-serve" crowd to jump in and say that Robredo would crush Roddick without his serve. But honestly that probably isn't the case. If Roddick were "all-serve", he'd be worse than Karlovic, seeing as how Karlovic has a better serve. Roddick has legit grinding abilities and occasionally even plays decent offensive tennis.

He'd mess Robredo up even if he had a peg leg and were missing an eyeball.

I'm well aware Roddick would win.

For all the Boredo-bashers, he gave Roger a very tough 2007 AO Quarterfinal.

Not seen Tommy all week but Roddick looks very solid, Roddick will win in three anyway, its always the same when these 2 play, lots of people go with an upset but it just aint happening even on clay, i hope it does but Roddick in 3 for sure.

I see...I see. This an old thread with a new title. Why not just call it "Roddick sucks"? He's definitly the worst top 10 player ever. He's a total mug that somehow got lucky, won a ton of tournaments, a davis cup title, the US OPEN and finished the year number 1. If you don't like someone's game just come out and say it. Don't beat around the bush. This is a troll thread. It should be deleted. Bashing on players is for sore losers.

Serving underarm who wins? Who cares, we don't serve under arm. If Federer had to play Nadal and neither were allowed to hit forehands who would win? Who cares?

Tennis is a game of match ups. Accept this.
