Tight match, good win for Marc and small chance wasted for Andi Beck.

according to kicker sport magazine gicquel accused beck of cheating after some close calls...
beck didn't really want to talk about it
does anyone know something about it?

Surprising me enormously, Gicquel has been really pretty damn good so far.

Yeah I tuned into the feed at the very end. the announcer said "Beck goes away not a very popular figure here". So this must have been a testy match.

Bet the crowd really got on Beck's back.

Gicquel won Bordeaux last week, it was a very high quality challenger, he's in good shape. With the support of the crowd, he could be a problem for Roddick!

Breizh atao (as Marc is a Breton)

If you have the ES player, look at the grimace Gicquel is doing at 3:43:05 after his netcord. What a ****.

I didn't find anything big though. Just a bad call for Beck at 3:33:45.

I told you he has weak nerves, marquez. But you didn't want to believe me.

:haha:

So my thread is disrespectful huh? At least i'm not making personal insuls of top 50 players.

Based on what? He beat Isner 3-0 in New York against a tougher crowd. Is he now mentally weak based on one match? How was he mentally weak yesterday? Because one "journalist" wrote it? It was a tough fight, one player had to lose, simple as that.

Yeah dont agree with you either bilbo. He saved bps in almost every service game in the 5th. nothing too unusual if gicuel takes one of maybe 8 or 10 bps. I think that he has strong nerves tbh. thats why I was so surprised about your call bilbo. and the kicker bases his analysis on looking on the result for 30 seconds I guess
