If he wasn't such a little punk bitch when he first came up, I'd actually feel for him.

I wonder if Donald Young's carrer goal still is to atleast win 2 of each grand slam?

Maybe he would be happy with one of each by now?

Young has done his penance with this seemingly endless string of bad results. I'd actually like to see him realise some of the potential that Mcenroe and others saw in him all those years ago.

not a shock... lindahl is every bit as good as young... which, is not saying a great deal to be fair...

Nice to see this arrogant prick keep on losing, he said he would get 14 grand slams at least, im pretty sure the tosser wish he kept his mouth shut, he would be over the moon with a challenger title most likely right now, lol, boy can ambitions change with a few (actually a lot) of spankings,

Donald Young is getting worse.

Either:
A) Hire a real coach.
B) Grow some balls and play with heart.
C) Retire

Preferably A and B....oh and stand up when the National Anthem is playing you little turd nugget.

Ok, lets not go crazy here. What teenager isn't cocky. What percentage? Its never easy to go through some rough streaks and frankly I am shocked at the amount of people who are rejoicing in his failures. Seriously rejoicing.

if he really said he would get 14 slams at least, then i want to see him fall into deep shit. with nadal, djokovic and murray only 2-3 years older, does he think he can consistently beat them at slam? btw, other young guns around his age like nishikori, gulbis, del potro(hate him)and cilic are much better than him. worst of all, if sam querrey is better than you, you have no future.

Question for anyone who's been able to catch a DYoung match in the past year: WTF is he doing out there?

Last I watched him he was taking Davydenko to a deciding set.

Yeah seriously. is he spraying errors, playing too defensive or just being out played?

I'm always wondering when someone will get the balls to ask McEnroe about his politically correct assessment of Donald Young. I think he should be excluded from judging tennis talent from now on.

Oh my god :sobbing: this is getting depressing. Now that I think about it he reminds me of Vaidisova, except a step below.

Good for Lindahl. A few months ago he was like Young, a talented player seemingly on a road to nowhere but now he looks like he is starting to get back to playing ok tennis. Also he got a new coach as well Donald, hint hint.

I think Donald has got to hang in there but he needs to urgently make those adjustments that were mentioned in this thread before it is too late. To be honest it is Donald's fault but I cannot belive his parents have not voluntarily given up coaching him. I don't know much about them but do they seem the controlling type?

Someone should call the social services because Donald's parents are killing him slowly , i mean the kid should have got rid of them amateurs two years ago and got a proper coach but it seems like they don't wanna let go of their "golden ticket", Donald clearly has talent but he's so mentally and physically weak and needs a coach to take his game to another level, towards the end of last year he won one or two challengers and also got to a final recently of another one but he's so inconsistent right now it's ridiculous, i remember reading a story about him turning down a chance to go and train with Nadal in spain around a year ago too and no doubt his parents were behind that decision :banghead: , right now it's easy to totally write off the kid but lets also remember the likes of Tsonga and just yesterday Ouanna took until they were 22/23 to make some noise so anything can happen, Donald is still only 19 after all.

Losing to Lindahl .. how embarrasing. Disgraceful performance .. should be ashamed.
