Did this really happen? Anyone have any news on it, or a video clip? Thanks :wavey:

If it did, he better be careful tomorrow. Simon doesn't cater to the crowd the way Monfils and Tsonga do, but the crowds in Roland Garros will be razzing him in a heartbeat.

One Chilean in DC called, in Spanish, to a Chilean in the strands razzin him ..'UR mother's a girl' ..or something..and was fined $2,500.

Best out there to let the Umpire handle the fans. dk

He probably said it out of frustration. He lost anyway, so I guess that's his karma...

I got told to shut up once by Arnaud Clement. All I was doing was taking a photo, it was the sound of my camera shutter. I was courtside at the Canada Masters in Toronto.

Why do these tennis players have to act like babies? i really don't understand, is there something wrong with them psychologically the way they also talk to themselves after every point, really wierd tbh.

Was it at the Dallas Challenger?

This was during his match that he won against Brands.

Wow, my coach sometimes blows an air horn while I am serving. You have to be able to play with distractions.

It's harder than you think, we are not playing for fun it's our job.

i do that too, i know it looks :silly: but it helps me to hear my own voice telling me to concentrate or calm down

Yeah likewise. When I'm playing with friends or whatever yeah I basically scream at myself after every point "BRIAN YOU IDIOT !!!" but if I'm in front of a crowd I try and keep it in.

Everyone's different.

that actually made me laugh...out loud and everything :) that just seems like a really weird thing for a coach to do

makes me think about that part in the jackass movie where they have airhorns at the golf course...funny stuff

but anyway some fans really do need to just STFU and sit down:rolleyes:

In the days before they built the new stadium you could be 10 feet from the players. No wonder he told you to shup up.
