I have a feeling djoker will make it to the final if he is at rogers half (and ranked 4)

but Murray doesnt have the good merits at clay to be seeded 3....:wavey:

4...

He'll be seeded fourth I think but it doesn't matter whether he's third or fourth, their place in the draw is random anyway.

IMO I'd would be nice for other slams (especially RG) to create a Wimbledon-esque system to determine the seedings.

IMO nadal should get a bye to the semi (not the final, as the level of play has clearly gone up lately)

to spare us watching clay aficionados such as almagro lose 1 1 1 to him.

yes.
I would give him bye to the semi, Djoker bye to the q/f, Rog to the R16,and murr bye R64. Then doesn't matter what seed you are.

I have a better idea. We just take Almugro out of the tour. What do you think about that?

I think an even better idea would be to take GlennMirnyi out of MTF. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :wavey:

What if he draws someone like Gulbis or Monaco in the 1st round and loses there.

We all know that Ernie tanks everything on clay until RG and draws Djoko or Nadal and pulls un upset ;)

:yeah:

How often again does it have to be repeated that there is NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever whether a player is ranked #3 or #4, in regards to the seedings? 50% chance to being in either the top of the bottom half of the draw. (with Wimbledon being an exception of course, but let's not even go there...)
~sigh~

The ignorance of certain 'tennis fans' to facts being found easily everywhere on the net is rather downputting at times.

Obviously which draw he ends up in will probably decide who wins the French Open. If he's on Rafa's side and gives Rafa a 5 hour marathon and Roger has an easy path to the final then all bets are off.

I guess all Fedtards would die for such a marathon Nole-Rafa SF and all Rafatards and Noletards will want them on opposite sides of the draw. Let's see what the tennis god will do this time.

I mean, if you're too lazy to search the net or read the rules, you just have to watch tennis to know these things. Novak was number 3 for almost 2 years and played many semis with either Roger or Rafa. We have two tournaments in a row and he ends up in a different half of the draw. You have to be either blind or totally disinterested not to notice that.

No need. Mugro is doing that pretty effectively by himself, by losing to pretty much everyone he meets.
