Is anyone watching this match???
How is Lleyton playing, is Kim there??? I'm trying to follow it on the 'live' scoreboard on the Legg Mason website, but I don't see much more then the scores ...

Those bloody double faults come at the worst of times

Just got broken serving to take the 2nd 6-4, but now Muller is serving to make it 5-5

Solid stuff from Lleyton...breaks right back to take the second set and the match

6-3 6-4

Keep up this top form and kick arse in the USO!

Well done Lleyton :woohoo: 6-3,6-4

Not the prettiest of matches. Twice he was up a break in the 2nd set and dropped his serve double-faulting on both occassions :fiery:

But it's the end result that counts. Well done!

I guess US viewers could have watched this match on television, but the overseas fans could not, so I'll post a short match report. Lleyton was just incredible in the first set. His serve was blazing, he was handling Muller's big serve and his pace with ease. What a performance! That was the best he played all week, even better than during the Saulnier match. Once he had the break in the second set, Muller just started going for broke, and that put Lleyton's serve under pressure, and he hit DFs at the worst possible times. But, Muller couldn't control his own serve, and Lleyton was bound and determined to win this match. The expression on his face was just incredible! He was unbelievably focused. You could have set off a bomb on court, and he would not have noticed. Even when he got broke serving for the match, I was confident that he would win. Well done, Lleyton!

It's just fantastic that my favorite tennis player came to my hometown, and not only did I get to watch him play in person in all five of his matches, but he won the tournament! I was so happy during the trophy presentation! Thank you so much for a great week, Lleyton! :worship: :worship: :worship:

Yes, Kim, Roger, Mum, Dad and others were there watching Lleyton play. Lleyton thanked them all during his speech. Kim got a big hand (I don't know if TV showed that). He also thanked the fans for sticking around during the four-hour rain break yesterday to watch his match (me, me, me!!! :) :) ), saying that the he and the other players really appreciated that.

damn, you're really lucky!
I'm sure I will have to wait a long time until Kiefer shows up in Munich (on clay) and wins a tournament... probably it's never gonna happen

I just hope, I can have as much fun as you had, when Kim is playing in my hometown at the end of September (and maybe if I'm really lucky, Lleyton will be there too :hearts: But if he isn't, it's no problem either, because I'll hopefully get to see Kim playing :bounce: )
