Andy's had no matches on clay yet while Tommy has come through the qualifying draw and one match in the main draw. :scared:

Roddick the clay god in 2. probably 6-0, 6-1

Another loss. I used to believe that Roddick wanted to be around people who cared to be intelligent decision makers. I guess it's better to pretend it's near retirement time and that any win is a lucky win. Since 2004, he has been reminded by his meddling relatives that his image should be based on helping other people live. As long as money rolls in from sponsors, to insult yourself and call the opponents the greatest are fine actions for Team Roddick.
So, he should just be happy to be alive after his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck 3 times.

This is no laughing matter. These titans of the claycourt game have both decimated fields at Houston in their time.

My tennis brain tells me that Roddick manages to take this, but after the Davy/Blake encounter one is reminded of the gravity of match-ups. So I'll go for Haas, the only time this year I'll predict a win for him.

Roddick can still win the earlier rounds. So yes, it's Roddick for the win.

Haas for me and I have a feeling it will be in straight sets.

Andy should've just skipped the whole clay season and come back for Queens. He hasn't played in a month and has never beaten Tommy on clay. Looks like he flew all the way to Madrid for nothing, except to lose.

Roddick to slide his way to defeat. 6/3 7/5 Haas.

I love that people treat Haasi like a clay master whenever he plays Roddick.

Probably Roddick, but he'll have to serve well.

His improved fitness/footspeed and his moonball'esque forehand could pay off here.

Hmm the last time I saw these 2 on clay was in Houston and Tommy won in 3. It could be tight but we will see although I am inclined to think that Tommy will win. I won't see the match tho.

It's MTF protocol to abandon logic and all-round sound analysis at least 50% of the time. Have you not noticed in the first month of your membership?
