My nose is blocked :awww: I can't get sick now dammit. Have exams and assignments coming up :bigcry:

BTW I like the idea of the game too Raquel. We could do like a one word per post to make a story kinda thread?

That is also a good one :yeah:

:awww: No - go get some hot lemon and honey or something - fight it before it takes a hold.

And not really game as such - but how about a "Question of the Day" thread like the Federer Forum do? Or something else along the question lines. The Gulbis Forum did a good question one too I think.

Thanks Rosie. I will

I think the impact of the loss yesterday was slightly lessened by the kid who came out of nowhere to hug Rafa. Cutest thing ever  http://d.yimg.com/i/ng/sp/p5/20090516/18/599317647.jpg (You've been warned Rosie :p)

Is Belgium really that much different from England? I've always imagined the weather to be pretty much the same  Certainly here, almost NO ONE has air-con apart from in Hotels and some workplaces..... it just never gets warm enough for people to spend the money to install it in the first place:o

It really is. When it's hot here, it stays hot. England cools down quicker, I'd say, because it's surrounded by sea. If we get wind from the East in summer, it's always very hot and dry air. But that totally changes when it reaches you, after crossing a sea  It's also hotter in summer in the East of our country than in the other parts, and that is for the same reason.

A lot of people have airco here btw.

Slightly OT- What I love about Nole's website are the exclamation points. When he wins, there's an exclamation point at the end. When he loses there's still an exclamation point!

The non stop positivity is rather hilarious. Not even Ana Ivanovic's website is that positive!

Winter in Chaves is pretty cold  at least from our point of view. -5ºC in January sometimes at night or in the morning...

In Coimbra it is not so cold.

But summer is pretty hot everywhere in Portugal. In August it's between 30ºC to 40ºC in a regular day. :)

Keep our fingers crossed for Nole's draw in Roland Garros.
I believe it could comfort him a little bit if he can at least take the plate back home if yesterday was a final. I cannot help but keep crying when I saw him down yesterday. :crying2:

I wish him all the best and definitely give him a BIG hug and kiss
after this tough loss.:hug::smooch:

It did remind me why I like him two years ago and I miss this
Nole sorely.

I never expect him to be the best or the greatest in his tennis career,I only wish him that he can do his best and try to play good matches just like what he did yesterday.

Give all he can, and that is the win for me.

And LOL at the Fedtrolls back on GM :tape: Even I can see (from what I saw of it), that this wasn't the "real" Nadal out there - he was exhausted and could barely move, like that time a few year ago, when he had the really long match with Moya in Chennai, and then got thrashed by Youzhny the next day. And - yes - I am bitter that Nole went through all that hell yesterday just to have the tournament handed on a plate to someone who patently didn't really deserve it on current form  Really wonder what would have happened if Murray hadn't had that brainf*rt and lost to del Potro

Yes. Sadly, every player has such fans, those who gloat after they've been waiting for a long time to do so. Similarly for Nole, as he started to get a little stable on clay, the trolls came back, claiming greatness, miracles, and what not. Sucks, really.
