Which of the grand slams looks best on tv?

I change my mind about this often, I enjoyed the Australian Open though, looked very clear on the box. For some reason the US Open is the worst viewing, as if the camera doesn't zoom in enough at least on Ashe Stadium. So I'd put Australian Open ahead of US in terms of viewing.

Wimbledon and Roland Garros I'd have to watch again to decide on, since its been a while since seeing them last year. From what I remember of last year I'd expect it to be like this:
1. Wimbledon
2. Australian Open
3. French Open
4. US Open

Australian Open maybe with the best camera-work but Wimbledon beats it because the grass is so darn tasty looking.

The ones where Nadal wins look the best.

1. AO [Rod Laver Arena was designed with the cameras in mind, esp new blue court is great].
2. Wimby [as mentioned by theRafa~ grass is "darn tasty looking", though not sure about the new roof].
3. FO [PH stadium is a magnifique venue, though if the sun is bright its hard to see the ball].
4. USO [Arthur Ashe stadium is almost like a baseball arena, too big for tennis].

I agree with you on the grass. AO is good. I generally don't like the look of clay (:P). And I have missed the last couple of USOs.

Wimby by far. I agree with theRAFA :D Grass is the best looking and best (of course) court. Too bad we don't see much of it

Definitely AO and USO with the blue surface. The ball is very easy to see.

Just got to add that they used to look terrible when they were green.

Clay looks good in all colors so it doesn't really matter

Easily Wimbledon, the grass on a first day on a digital tv looks stunning

The Australian Open courts always look crystal clear and I love the new colour on tv. Wimbledon obviously aswell. The other two not so much.

US OPEN by far has the best high definition.
Maybe Wimbledon second.
The French and AO don't look as good, maybe it's because they're beamed over here so far? I don't know either way US OPEN looks great. That might change this year with ESPN ruining everything they can get their hands on.

The new AO courts are great, i love their look especially in the late evening matches.

Verdant lushness of Wimbledon wins out for me, just ahead of AO.

Definitely, Roland Garros: To see the French crowd getting the winner they can't stand is priceless.
