Federer, Tsonga, Stepanek, Berdych, Söderling, Kiefer and Petzschner on grass = great tournament.

1st wildcard to Tommy Haas and 2 wildcards will go to either Phau, Beck, Petzschner or Zverev...

Wow, that is some entry list!

Looks a bit risky that Phau didn't commit to Queen's. He has to hope that Petzschner gets in.

Beck and Hernych are as good as in. No way will two SE spots be necessary. Petzschner should make the cut too. WCs for Phau and Zverev I think, and even those might not be necessary. Usually about 3-4 withdrawals per event.

Yes, Phau has a decent chance to get direct entry. But I don't really believe in this article. I wouldn't be surprised, if e.g. Baghdatis and Waske have better chances to get a WC than Phau.

Hopefully this means Del Potro and Simon will play Queen's Club. :D

If they want to see good tennis, Baghdatis should really get one, considering what he has achieved on grass and especially in this tournament.

Tournament Director Ralf Weber told so in a pressconference. You can read about it on the website but only in German

He let the people in Halle down a few times already, why would he do it again?

Because he will be very tired after Roland Garros, he had some really difficult matches. And now Rafa is taking a break (good decision) I'm pretty sure he'll take one too. (and that would be the best decision)

I Love Tsonga

He could've known in advance that it wasn't going to be easy, if he cancels now, he shouldn't have signed up in the first place :tape: It's unfair to the audience and the tournament organization...
