Can't be better summed up. seljanin 04-29-2009, 08:43 PM Hmm.. a pretty crappy match by both of them. A pity about the loss, it was pretty close. He may be tired after those long matchs... hope he will recovered quickly to play against a tough opponent : Verdasco ! Good luck Richard :) richie21 04-29-2009, 08:45 PM Gasquet def Guga 76 64 62 16 64 Brillant :worship: Gasquetno.1 04-29-2009, 08:48 PM For his second match in one day against 2 tough opponents its a good result Renaud 04-29-2009, 08:48 PM Brillant :worship: Isn't it ? Afleet Alex 04-29-2009, 08:49 PM For his second match in one day against 2 tough opponents its a good result :haha: EnriqueIG8 04-29-2009, 08:49 PM what a shitty match apple123 04-29-2009, 08:50 PM Gasquet def Guga 76 64 62 16 64 ROFL:o docking34 04-29-2009, 08:51 PM dammm i wanted gulbish to win HeretiC 04-29-2009, 08:51 PM 2 wins in 1 day, not bad. Too bad they played decent in the same time only in the first couple of games in the first 2 sets. But at least the third was quite competitive. Richie couldn't keep the same level from Tsonga match, was awful on BP conversion, even worse on saving BPs, his shots did not have the same pace as earlier today, he had cramps on his right arm, but still got the job done. On the other hand Ernie missed a big opportunity to beat a tired opponent, but to be honest he hasn't moved from two years ago: he is still the same talented ball-basher with a drop-shot addiction who smacks every ball with the same pace and spin, not a slightest adaptation, variation or change of game-plan. Either his coaches sucks or he is just too stubborn to listen to them. Jozie 04-29-2009, 08:56 PM Did better than a couple of Top 10 players today. And that after playing two matches. Well done Richard! Bilbo 04-29-2009, 08:59 PM always a good day to see gulbis losing well done, richard ImmzB 04-29-2009, 09:02 PM Well done Richie!! Puschkin 04-29-2009, 09:05 PM still two good wins by gasgay Once and for all, I report all posts in which Richard's name is discredited (even if I agree with your line) And no this is not funny. And believe me, I don't overlook many. :p reggie1 04-29-2009, 09:05 PM A win's a win! Well done Richie :yeah: LocoPorElTenis 04-29-2009, 09:08 PM This Gulbis is a mental mug of the highest order... how many months without going beyond second round? how long until his ranking drops so much he has to go back to playing challengers? ~*BGT*~ 04-29-2009, 09:25 PM Once and for all, I report all posts in which Richard's name is discredited (even if I agree with your line) And no this is not funny. And believe me, I don't overlook many. :p As do I. :p JimmyV 04-29-2009, 09:27 PM Gulbis's streak of 2nd round losses begins again. groundstroke 04-29-2009, 09:28 PM Gasquet wins 2 matches in one day against 2 decent opponents, granted they are both terrible on clay, it's not too bad... miura 04-29-2009, 09:48 PM Ernests!! You had it! :smash: moon language 04-29-2009, 09:52 PM Once and for all, I report all posts in which Richard's name is discredited (even if I agree with your line) And no this is not funny. And believe me, I don't overlook many. :p Maybe I'll report you for saying that "gay" is somehow a "discredit." Puschkin 04-29-2009, 09:54 PM Ernests!! You had it! :smash: Not really. Rather poor from both, but Richard's third set attitude was quite surprising and positively so. nkhera1 04-29-2009, 09:58 PM 2nd round + Gulbis = never in doubt (even against Gasquet) Cloudygirl 04-29-2009, 10:54 PM Not really. Rather poor from both, but Richard's third set attitude was quite surprising and positively so. my favourite thing about the match. He clearly was bothered which makes me very happy. DhammaTiger 04-29-2009, 11:02 PM Richie :bigclap: good to see him playing well again :yippee: richie21 04-29-2009, 11:05 PM Richie :bigclap: good to see him playing well again :yippee: Like he needed to play well to beat Tsonga on clay and mugbis...... fred perry 04-30-2009, 12:05 AM richie called and said he doesn't feel like playing tomorrow. :wavey: switz 04-30-2009, 12:13 AM Now watch Verdasco suddenly come back to life. he always seems to when playing Gasquet. Richie really needs this win. On paper he's having a decent year but he needs to make a good at a big tournament rather desperately if he's ever planning on being a contender again. ClaudiuS 04-30-2009, 01:59 AM Even a piece of crap like Serra could have won this. | |
