Ivo winning a match without needing a TB, good to see.

The heavy conditions won't help Ivo's serve bounce into the Trevi fountain.

Nice win for Ivo. Normally I'd say I can't see him being a threat to Federer here but I actually think he has a chance. :tape:

Not seeing much chance for Ivo here. getting broken twice by Jan is not a good sign for what's going to happen with Fed. Ivo's only chance with Fed is on fast surface where the serve can be a big weapon and the rest of the game becomes less important.

The good doctor broke Hernych three times in the final set. Great stuff. :yeah:

But better hope for hotter drier conditions against Fedbot.

Hernych usually has troubles when leading a match :o

Yes, he was up a set and a break [for those who didn't follow the match] then quickly dropped serve for the 1st time, at love. He was never the same after that.

I missed the break up in second set, I was talking about his matches against Hanescu in AO and Ancic (or maybe Cilic?) in Zagreb.
Anyway, good stuff from Ivo :yeah:

Karlovic's form at the moment is like watching some lumbering giant stumble through a perpetually dark forest without a flashlight. Funny at first, but just annoying after a while.

Perhaps this slump will take the pressure off him for Wimbledon. A seed-killing run to the quarters or semis is long overdue.
