This is stupid, but I'm so happy I wanted to share it! I retook that awful Honors Physics test, I don't know if you remember it, and got a 90%! In most classes I wouldn't like that grade but it was infinitely better than the first test. AND my teacher decided not to average the two tests, instead he just gave me all the credit from the second one! So the horrible one will have no bearing on my grade! YAY! lol

I have learned the importance of not stressing too much over this stuff though, thanks to you all ;)

We'd place big candles on the bleachers that spell out "HOPE" and we read all the deceased names during the night candlelight vigil. :) My aunt is a coordinator for it every year. :)

Thanks but the real sorrow is for her family. She put up a great fight and lived much longer than the norm. But there was nothing norm about her. So here's to her life that she led and the dignity she had while dying. Ok enough. Time for laughter;)

He's He'd been bedridden in the hospital for three years, but over the past three months he'd gotten steadily worse. Today his body said "No mas!" and off he went...

Well, I hope to drive a LOT less than I did last year. They claim to have other volunteers for this and I will do the dispatching, but I plan to manage the tournament desk and deal with the players, and actually see some tennis this year. I want to take pictures too, lots of them. I'll drive the people I like, when I feel like it. ;)

Noam isn't coming this year, but Goldstein, Sela, and Levy should be there. I'll do what I can to get you some eye candy Sue! :lol:

it's a chinese festival! takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. basically...MIDDLE OF AUTUMN!!! (based on the lunar calendar :lol: ) and the moon is supposed to be at it's brightest and fullest and we pig out on mooncakes and try to wash it down with chinese tea and sit around and play with lanterns (i love the paper ones you can set fire to lol) and have family reunions and stuff like that. but no thanks to the haze....it sucks to try to look at the moon though I saw it earlier and it was :hearts: despite the moon :)

They claim to have other volunteers for this and I will do the dispatching, but I plan to manage the tournament desk and deal with the players, and actually see some tennis this year. basically in this country everyone gets ill when they first go to uni (during fresher's week generally), just because it's a stressful experience and people tend to go out loads and once someone gets ill, it spreads around and everyone catches it and we call it fresher's flu. It's nothing serious, i've just got a bad cold and cough and sore throat, luckily my headache had gone! :)
