Awww thanx so much guys  you don't realise how happy you've made me lol. Literally 3 minutes after i posted that comment last night i went in and blew off at him telling him he needed to wise up to himself coz he'd not only lose me he'd lose everything. I don't think he took it well considering the fact that this morning he was shouting and all the rest of it about how i always get my own way ( which sooo isn't true just him being an idiot) he thought about it all afternoon and when i came in he apologised and stuff and told me he's going to see the doctor tomorrow to see what help he can get.
I mean it annoys me because i have my own life to be getting on with yet i'm always trailed back in again i don't really talk much to be honest not nearly as much as what i should i just don't really like talking about my feelings which i know is bad but i can't help it

But thank you guys again, you rock :rocker: :)
 that's good that he realized that he's hurting you!

I got a call from the flower company that I ordered the flowers from for Nixie (the old lady that called me on Sunday). She had called them asking them the last name of the "Mary" who sent her the beautiful flowers! She said that she thinks she knows who sent it, but she cannot believe someone would. :aww: So I told the lady on the phone about her and stuff so she was going to call her right back. Hee! That makes me so happy. :) :)

Yeah, it wasn't 8 people.. One person died, four could die and 16 others were shot.

It was some guy who hated humanity who randomly parked his car and started shooting. He had a website where he said he hated normal people and dreamed of dying by getting shot and when the policemen shot him in the leg, he shot himself in the head. His idols were the columbine people.

I mean, I always think "How horrible.." when it happens.. but like, my friend's cousin and my math teacher were in that building when it happened and another friend's aunt was across the street from there.. It's so close to me.

Thanksss. :)

Yeah, I know.. The level of hatred was high enough for him to just shoot innocent people. It's alarming.

I'm hoping the coverage of this event won't ecourage other people like him.. It could have been any school, too. That school is like 20 minutes away from mine.

His idols were the columbine people. See, this is what upsets me the most about this whole thing. We have seemingly learned nothing from past mistakes. Why was this website ignored. Why didn't a student report it, a teacher, anyone. It just makes it so much more tragic to know that these things can usually be prevented.

Wellll -sort of a cheap mean version of Harry Potter. I read it originally to Nate who liked it at Sam's age. Nate is a great reader, Sam is not so if he wants to read it I let him.
Sad news btw- Nate has broken up with his beautiful girlfriend. Ok I know he is only 13 but the puppy love was so damn cute.:(

Jo- don't exactly know why the breakup. When I asked Nate he said-too much schoolwork and football. Hubs told me later that she had not called him back after he called her about 4 times. And I think her mom either had a hand in it or was just giving us a clue when she called shortly after the party to tell us one they were home safely and two she wanted Eliza to be able to feel free to make friends at her new school. Either way Nate seems ok with it. They are only 13 after all and I never expected it to last anyway.
I also just started to not see smilies.

I've been sick for 4 months and it's just not going away! I know it's not Glandular or Mononucleosis as the blood test didn't show any signs of either but I'm doubting whether it's the chest infection the doctor once suggested.
I've got a sore throat, really blocked up sinuses, phlegmy chest (ew!!), headachey, muscle soreness and I'm always tired no matter how long I sleep for.

Um............ So I went to go get my eyebrows waxed and noticed the buses at the hotel right across the street. Of course I could not let this pass me up, so I called Rox (my sister) and she told me her and Ellie (my niece) were on their way over there anyways to go shopping. So we met up at the mall and then went over to the hotel. Only Ace & Bucky stopped, and Ace tried to kidnap Ellie  I was holding her czu she was FREAKING out that Ace was right there and he saw me and was like "HEY!!!!!! How have you been?!!!!!" and then he was like "HEY CUTIE!" to Ellie and grabbed her out of my arms and was holding her the whole time. :hearts: He talked to her for the longest time and she was telling him she voted for him every week and that her fave song was "We Will Rock You" and everything  it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute. I have to share with you the picture of him and Ellie. ( i'd post me and him but y'all have already seen like 39843894 pix of me with him  ) I got kinda mad at my sister later then tho cuz when she came over to my house she said to my mom "I guess Mary doesn't lie cuz he really does know her and kept talking to her and holding on to her and asking her questions and saying he'd see her soon..." and I started yelling at her cuz I was like "WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE THINK? I LIE ABOUT STUFF?" and Rox was like "No I just thought you exaggerated but I guess not..." so now I"m glad I have a witness since apparently my family thinks I lie about this shit :ras:

OK so as I promised Jace, here's my life update:

I have a job! After months of being just slightly emo about being a bum, I've been blessed me with a job at an entertainment and management company I've wanted to be part of since seven years ago. :yippee:

I waited until tonight to write this particular update because yesterday I also did something that might have had an impact on the content of my job news. See, several of my dance instructors invited me to audition to enter instructor training. Yes, me. Whodathunk?

The audition was yesterday, and to make a long story short, I didn't make it. BUT! Out of almost 60 auditionees, the judges were supposed to choose 18 candidates for training. They called 16 candidates by number, then for the last two slots (actually it was only supposed to be one) called five people to dance for it. I couldn't believe it when they called my number (my favorite number, 4). I was one of the five. Well anyway, we five were told that even if we weren't picked to be part of the 18, we would still "play an important role." Sounds like something out of a beauty pageant, but we were effectively the first runner-up; in case any of the 18 would be unable to fulfill their duties as Miss Universe complete their training, one of us could be called to take that place.

I feel like I did my best, considering I had a weeping wound on each of my foot arches (I wore bad shoes on Friday) and that it was my first audition. I think the judges chose the best possible candidates (and I don't think there's a chance that any of them will pass up the chance for training), and I hope to enjoy the classes they will lead within a few months. And anyway, there's always next audition.

Right now, I want to focus on making the best possible start to my new job. I start tomorrow.

WTF?

Deboogle!.
09-18-2006, 02:36 AM
Scott and I got into an argument about Andy last weekend. Since then he has been practically stalking me around MTF, making snide comments. There were the two threads - one in non-tennis and one in the site discussion forum, where he disagreed with me and made more snide comments. So he decided it'd be cute to put me in his sig with some more snide remarks. He's so deluded that he doesn't realize that that's against the rules and that other posters have been warned about being banned for similar kinds of sigs and that I had nothing to do with it being changed. I pity him, really.

Fee
09-18-2006, 02:47 AM
Yeah, I saw the discussion in 'site problems' and I thought it was quite odd. That whole 'andy threw the birthday cards in the trash' thing was not that big of a deal. I was surprised Scott got so bent about it, but I haven't seen the behavior that everyone else accuses him of, I don't go to those threads I suppose.

Deboogle!.
09-18-2006, 02:52 AM
that wasn't our main argument, the main argument was after Andy beat Youzhny and it happened in Adam's thread, and since then Scott has replied rudely to me in several threads all over MTF, even when it had absolutely nothing to do with him.

I just think it's funny that he's convinced I had it done and that I have so much power, it's kind of creepily obsessive.

Back from Texas.

Work is a whore, I have three one hundred page packets of paper work to read, and fill out. Ohhh and it has to be done before I leave again which is a day and a half. :o

Really, really hate my internship right now

Deboogle!.
09-18-2006, 02:45 PM
aw, you can do it :)

What's your internship for?

btw yes Adam, very nice TUI last night, impressive skills you got there :)

Sofyaxo
09-18-2006, 02:59 PM
My internship is kind of a half and half thing.

My major is sports fitness and administration with minors in sports psychology and general management.

So my internship is with a sports league, and I do things with different player's managers and/or agents.

Basically my internship is me filling out paper work on planes haha.

Deboogle!.
09-18-2006, 03:01 PM
wow! well, that sounds pretty cool to me! I think it's a universal problem of internships, we get the grunt work most of the time, but usually it's about how it looks on your resume and the connections you make, so I'm sure you're headed on the right track :)

cobalt60
09-18-2006, 03:14 PM

Tangy I voted for you bright and early this am.

Everyone is ok. I need a break from my football playing teenager. Not sure where he came from all of a sudden. Hubs never played any sports. And me just tennis and swimming. I went to a game on Saturday and now I understand what some folks talk about regarding parent coaches. Way to serious. :help: But we will get through this no problem.

What's the best way to reduce the size of photos? When I get them off my digital camera, they're about 2MB, if I open them with paint and save them as a JPEG it becomes about 480kb, is there any way to get it smaller than that?

Also, is there any way of reducing the size of a video?

Tank ya! Deb, Fee, Adam, and Sue for voting for me  (did I miss anyone?)

Sue, omg, parent coaches :scared: Just some parents in the cheering section get way, way too involved and abusive and that's just not right. It makes me angry seeing these morons yell at their kids, threaten the coaches and umps, etc. What's wrong with people? It's children at play here!

I'm almost afraid to have kids and get them involved in sports. I don't want them dealing with these types of parents.

Deboogle!.
09-18-2006, 03:27 PM
Adam, try downloading Picasa from Google, it is their image editing program and it's free, I think you might be able to resize in that. It's free, give it a shot ;)

Glad to hear everyone's doing ok Sue.

Have a good day everyone :)

cobalt60
09-18-2006, 03:47 PM
Well fortunately the game wasn't as bad as you read/hear about. Most of the parents were very laid back but again this is something I am not use too. And the coaches to be fair were just a bit "gung ho". And if it ever gets out of line I will say something.
