Thanks to Andy's slump, my blog seems to be morphing into an "American Tennis Watch" blog instead of a Roddick blog. It's hard to write about stuff when Andy's sucking so badly and besides, nobody wants to hear me rant about him all the time. :lol:

I'm also very excited about Sam Querrey's future prospects as a star and am tempted to write a paragraph or so hyping him up on my blog. It's rather annoying how a jerk like Donald Young gets all the media hype but not Querrey, who's actually posting some decent results.

And Kellen Damico. Remember that name. He just won the boys Wimbledon doubles title. He also got kicked out of John Roddick's academy a while back. Ooh. He's a bad boy, too. :lol:

Everyone who goes to the AI tour and is sitting on the floor on a seat next to the aisle needs to be warned of Taylor Hicks' entrance. I was not. Therefore, I was standing on my chair to see him walk through the crowd, and saw him turn to walk down our aisle (mom was on the end seat and i was next to her) so I went to jump off my chair to get in the aisle to get a good video of him since I was videotaping. Yea, so I fell as I jumped off my chair and fell in the aisle. So I look up and here comes Taylor with like 8 security guards around him and theyre not slowing down and they're about to run me over. So what do I do? I stay sitting on the floor and I grabbed Taylor's ass as he walked past me. :lol: And no Nat, it is not firm. This stuff always happens to me. :lol: Everyone around me was like "Did you do that on purpose?!?!?!" So clearly I said I did. :p

Well basically what happened was during rowing training, we had to do a 750m ergo time trial. I tried the first time and had to stop because I actually could not breathe (the most annoying thing was that I wasn't hurting at all...) and so 10mins later I tried again. However, I was still upset about it (I think I had JUST stopped crying before starting the 2nd time) and then had ANOTHER one when trying again.

But because rowing is a bit of a bitchy sport, one girl who is in my friendship group but I've been fighting with her a lot recently (she's SO FREAKING COMPETITIVE) was telling some of my other non-rowing friends what happened when she saw them. And apparently she said "Oh Ellen had some kinda asthma thing this morning.... but like... she only did 250m of her ergo" and my friends were so worried and were asking about me and stuff and then she's like "Oh I don't think it was that bad... it's been so built up... but like... she just did 250m". I mean... that's just LOW of her.

The most annoying thing was that I wanted to do that ergo time trial SO bad and it wasn't hurting or anything, but I simply couldn't breathe. I just had the WORST morning of all time and was crying for so long after, and to hear that this girl said those things was just disappointing.

Ok, enough of my ranting. Time to forget about it.
And also time for bed. Good night all!! :)

Well to answer your question, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to go to tennis. If I really wanted to, I could even take the metro into LA or something...since getting a ride would be the most difficult (well, probably only) problem.

I find the 30 love club one of my favorite threads. Age makes no difference. You just have to want to talk about mature subjects leaving behind all the hysteria , melodrama ,and nastiness that MTF seems to thrive on. So....in my email box today, I got a congratulations saying I was chosen as one of the "stringers" for CosmoGirl for the next year. (from what I've gathered, stringers provide a lot of quotes and story ideas for the magazine and have the chance to write some articles that go in the magazine) I filled out the application on a whim and then I realized I missed the deadline which said they'd be choosing "on or around June 1st." Well I didn't even send it till like the 5th but I figured since I had already done the application and gathered writing samples, I might as well send it anyway. So they picked me. hahahaa.

:eek: I get up about the time you go to bed;) I take a benedryl ( antihistamine with the added benefit of making one drowsy) before bed so that has helped me tremendously. And I have been exercising about 4-5 times a week which has also helped my sleeping pattern. Good luck as getting a restful sleep is so important to one's health :hug:

well I can't swallow tablets (another one of my issues! :lol: ) so I don't take anything to help me sleep. I always go to bed late anyway, normally at about 2am, but because I don't have uni or a job, I get up later in the mornings so I can't sleep at night! :rolleyes: I've been exercising as well, doesn't help me though! I'm probably not very healthy then because I've never been much of a sleeper! :lol: I think it's why I have low metabolism... :mad:
