As the administrators are closing threads I think they will do the same with the chat thread which Claire started. Threads are only allowed to get 5 000 posts, then they are going to get closed in order to help to make the forum go faster.

So I think it's time to start a new chat thread in the Federer forum :) I didn't knew which name to choose for the thread, suggestions are welcome.

Let's make this a thread of nice discussions, interesting questions of the days and hopefully many happy moments for Roger and us :)

First Question of the day from the new thread:

Where abroad do you have relatives and when was the last time you have seen them?

I'm asking this because we had a little family meeting last Sunday which a cousin of my attended. She lives in England, has been on vacation in the Netherlands and came to Germany to meet some of her relatives. I haven't seen her for over 20 years. Her parents live in Ireland and I have seen them for the last time 18 years ago, when they moved from Switzerland to Ireland and came to us to say good-bye. Their son is living in Ireland as well with his family and I haven't seen him for probably 15 years.

All my relatives live in Brazil. I think I've seen them all in the last 3-4 years, so there is nothing like "I haven't seen him in 20 years now".

BTW Eden, great, great thread name. I'll support Roger no matter what. But this doesn't stop me from getting upset from time to time ;)

Will they really close all big threads Doris? :awww:

Most of my family lives in Holland as well, I only got some family living in Switzerland. Last time I saw them was last summer :)

I don't want the Roger news and articles thread or the Roger's picture thread closed or the other threads here closed :awww: When the threads are closed, we can no longer post, but we should atleast be able to look through the previous posts, right?

Nice question, Doris :D

Some of my relatives are in US and I saw some of them 2-3 years ago and others 4 years ago , and my cousin is in Australia and I saw him 1 or 1 1/2 years ago. My other cousin is in Singapore and I saw him a month ago when he came to India.

So you have all your family in your homecountry? :)

All my relatives live in Brazil. I think I've seen them all in the last 3-4 years, so there is nothing like "I haven't seen him in 20 years now".

Talking about Brazil, I read on the news that Guga is on a committee to get the Olympics to your country.

Glad you like the name :)

I think it's normal that we are upset sometimes, which just shows how much we care for him as a player, but also as human being.

Yes, Yvo, they have already closed the big threads, even in the player's forums. The technical administrator has closed most of the threads and reopened them and apparently right now is checking the possibility that other people who post in the thread can change the thread title, although he has opened the thread.

Nooooo I don't want it :crying2: I wouldn't like a 2nd part of "my fanclub" as much as having it all in one :(

But I have read that some threads are completely gone, invisible? Will that always be like that? Or can I at least go back and read some old posts? :awww:

Hi Lehka:wavey:
For now most chat threads in non-tennis with over 5000 posts are being removed and they can't be accessed by anyone but mods:( I don't know if they'll be doing this with all other threads with more than 5000 posts.

My answer to the question of the day: Well I was born on Aruba, am living in the Netherlands now. My parents still live on Aruba so I don't see them more than once a year. Some years I travel to Aruba and sometimes my parents travel to the Netherlands and if we can' meet up that way, we take a vacation to somewhere else so we can meet up that way. Most of my dad's family lives on Aruba so I don't see them that often and while I grew up I didn't see my mom's family that often since they live in the Netherlands and I grew up on Aruba.

Right now the removed threads can't be seen, but it would be a real loss if they wouldn't made them visible again. Those threads are a few years old and people have memories on the threads. It won't really matter with the games thread, but the chat threads and also everything regarding a player.

If they will indeed be gone I am really happy Steffi and I took time to save the fanclub page by page, it took us forever. But we "only" have like 1300 pages of 40 posts. We still miss about 500 pages. But I still wouldn't like it. It's not the same without the big fanclub thread :( And the same with other threads. It would be stupid if you only have chatthreads of less than 5000 pages, you can hardly call that a chatthread!

If keeping the threads under 5000 posts is really going to improve the servers and help deal with all the problems with the database, that I guess it'll have to be done. Even if I think it's a poor solution to the problems, but it's way more annoying that at the moments the large thread have been removed and we can't even go back and look at old posts. The admins say they're working on finding a way that these threads can still be read so I hope that works.

You are right about that. MTF will have to be faster, if this doesn't help I will really get annoyed.
but I think there should be different solutions. There are millions of not used small threads or not used forums. Why don't they simply close them. Or at least they should keep the threads visible, because those threads have memories in them. It's fun to read some old posts over again.

04-08-2009, 05:51 PM
I don't know why they're not just closing the threads instead of taking them away to some place where everyone who posted in them can't even read old posts anymore. I can't imagine that the only possible solution is keeping threads under 5000 posts, but then again I don't know much about how message boards work:shrug:

Nymeria
04-08-2009, 06:01 PM
I guess they are looking for the best solution. Apparantly simply closing them is not enough right now. They could simply close them on WTAworld, so I guess there should be a solution here as well. I trust in the administrators (but in the meanwhile I'll continue saving my favorite thread page by page  )

Hi Kim :wavey:
:( I hope the mods make an arrangement so that the threads are just closed, and not removed. Some of the threads have been there for years and it's always nice to go through them.

Exactly :yeah: If it makes MTF faster, I can understand why they wouldn't want huge threads to grow. But I hope the threads are still visible, and the change is that we can't post in them anymore.

Have you been to the USA and Australia or did they come to visit you in India?

I went to the USA a long time ago. I haven't been to Australia. The recent times when we've met is when they visited India :)

Hello all. :bigwave:

Luis, there was a major clean-out of MTF happening yesterday, as it became clear that the forum's servers can't handle threads with over 5000 posts. It was the major cause of all those 'database errors' occuring.

I've been assured by truebluefan that all the old threads will be restored and visible again in due time. It just won't be possible to post in those anymore. That's why there are now new threads for the old subjects.

I still think MTF should get a BETTER SERVER in the first place, but at least truebluefan tries to do something about the reoccurring forum brainfarts. MTF has been behaving right-out terrible the past few days weeks months.

He has ensured me that all the old threads will become readable again soon, but it's a lot of work, and as far as I know, he's the only person actually taking care of it right now. What a job that must be! :help:

Unfortunately Claire (or should I say Other like she named herself lately), who has started the other chat thread, which is now closed, hasn't been on MTF for a long time. As only the person who started a thread has the ability to change the name of a thread I thought to start a new chatting thread, giving us the opportunity to use flexible titles of the thread, but of course as soon as Claire is back I will ask her if it is ok for her, that we use a new thread :)

I have family in the US who we met when we went on holiday in Cairns (Queensland, Aus) 2 years ago and some family there I haven't met at all. Alot of family in India as I am 1/4 Indian and I've met all of them cause I've been there 4 times (the last time was January 2006). I have family in England who I met when I went there last year in June/July. :)

Nice to see a few new faces saying hello :wavey:

I always try to be optimistic. I follow tennis for such a long time now, went through the parts where my favourite players struggled, were injured and retired then. Of course we all want to see the best possible outcome for the players we support, but in the end we should never forget it's only a game.

Although Roger hasn't won a title this year his results are ones which a lot of the players on the tour would like to have. He also had bad matches in the past, which he could have lost, but when you are riding on a high wave of success and selfconfidence even a little luck is on your side.

Roger has given us so much in the last years and we can still see the desire he has. He cares for the game and will surely continue to achieve the best possible.

Let's hope the marriage with Mirka and the birth of the little baby will help him to get rid of the huge pressure on his shoulders. Life is much more as any success on the tenniscourt or record to break.

Cheers to Roger and Mirka on their marriage

The bill will of course be sended to Roger

I'm going to be the whole week in Halle together with Karin. I also would like to go to Basel in autumn, though it's not official yet as I'm waiting for the tourdates of my favourite band who are rumoured to go on tour in Germany during that time.

How about you? :)

Hey guys :wavey: Just popped in to say: very nice thread title. :yeah: That is exactly the spirit. :bounce:

We do the same in Nole's forum, no matter how hard it becomes to keep on supporting him. :)

:wavey: Good luck in MC. :)

Raquel! :wavey:  I should stop by your DjokoLand thread more often, I miss your little clan. :awww:

Nice, I have a week off college and then another week off after the easter break before the dreaded exams :scared:.

All is well with me, just relaxing really

I've still got one more year before college but I have a tough pair of exams in early May, then a much easier pair in mid-June. But I'm trying to enjoy this week off, even if I know I'll be studying a lot. :p

:wavey: Must admit I saw Raquel (arm) as last poster here, and thought it was a new thread on Nole's Forum when I clicked on the link :o But I'm glad I did, because I agree it's a lovely, positive thread title too.

Nadine, Nina - everyione else in here I know - wishing you a Happy Easter to those who celebrate, and a wonderful holiday weekend to everyone

Hi, Rose! :wavey: Thanks, and a happy Easter to you too. :)

I'm now waiting for Düsseldorf (Simo will play again) and I will for sure be in Halle again, not sure yet how many days. Depends a bit on the schedule of my friends. Most probably I will go one day to 's Hertogenbosch and I hope for some nice players in the challengers in the region. Hopefully I can meet all my favorites once in the tennissummer :)

I hope for you the band and the tournament won't be at the same time :)

Sounds like a good tennissummer for you :)

Thanks :) I'm a fan of the band for over 22 years and have seen them about 11 or 12 times in concert and it's nice now to go to the concerts with people you know from the internet, but on the other hand one has to take the chances to see Roger playing live - and when the tournament and the concerts are at the same time it will be hard to decide where to go to.

Tennissummer is always cool. I love in a perfect region for the end of clay season and the grass season :) I hope several of my favourites will play bundesliga again.

I wasn't talking about Depeche Mode, but a-ha ;) Depeche Mode are going to tour in Germany as well, but already in June. I will be busy with visiting a tennistournament at that time, otherwise I would have loved to go to one of their concerts :)

I loved A-ha on their heydays but haven't heard or seen them for quite some time. A new album will be great. I should check it out when it comes out. (Let me take a peep at Non-tennis thread in a minute.)

I am great. Thanks for asking. :D Hope you are doing well also. I don't celebrate Easter because I am Buddhist. Yeah, I should be happy I could see him several times during the years. And that he is the first player I saw in real life :) How lucky I am! :)

Marco played the year before I visited Halle first time, he was injured the two years after. But as he has Halle as his practise base and his coach is usually there, I guess the chances are pretty big indeed :) I hope so. If Marco doesn't come to Holland, I should go to him :p

All the fellows that I adore, and yes, that includes one Roger Federer, have ONE very important thing in common: they are such wonderful artists, they are so sensitive, ... pfew, I am speechless right now! :worship: :worship: :worship: :hearts:...

Please don't mind me here.

hey karin:hug: Whoa 20 km. Impressive! Congrats on that and good luck next weekend. I'm so out of shape and should go to the gym but I am too lazy to walk from my dorm to the gym. I just might start tomorrow though.

Hi there Tarrie  (sorry, I haven't yet replied to your PM... it just ´slipped through my fingers´, as so often... :awww: sorry!'

Nah, 20 km is just the beginning I´m afraid. :D

awww. I've never had the chance to see new born ducklings, but I bet they are adorable. I have seen new born rabbits though. I'm such an animal fan and its one of the reasons I became a vegetarian. I remember driving with my driving instructor and there was this rabbit in the middle of the road and I automatically stopped and I guess she did not see it and was like, "What did you do that for?". Karin and Usha what do you think of the Roger-Seppi match on Wednesday? Do you think it'll be a close encounter? Does Seppi dare I say it have what it takes to beat Fed? :bolt::help:

Aye, thank you Nadine - just to lift my mind from the troubles I'm dealing with right now, with some beloved friends...

Seppi did well against that opponent of his, but eh... what was his name, again? :p

Roger should well be able to deal with Seppi. If not, he'd have no deal of appearing at MC at all. I'm sure he's ready to make his mark there! :armed: ;)

Same here. If anything, I believe in the Power of Love = Nature. ;)

I was sort of on the fence for a while, but not anymore thanks to the non tennis section here as well as the tv show house. Surprisingly I go to a catholic university, but that's because they have decent pharmacy program here. A few of my friends are quite religious, but with friends I try to refrain from dicussing two topics and that is religion and politics.

I don't know what I am.

I'm supposed to be a Muslim, but I am not religious at all neither is my family. I don't believe in what is said in the Koran, but I respect the fact that others do. Does that make me agnostic?

One of my good friends is a muslim, although I don't think she is a good one, considering she drinks. Just for the fun of it, I tried fasting with her. I last a day. I thought I was doing well, but the second day I saw a box of entenmann's cookies and I wilted like a flower. Kind of sad really. I have no will power. Although I'm going strong in the vegetarian department. Two years and counting and this is coming from someone who used to be the biggest chicken lover.

If anything, I think that one should pick out the GOOD things of 'official' religions, and just ignore the bad. As such, I think that Jesus indeed said (if he ever did ;)) some great words, in his "Judge not, for you will be judged", just to name one, and to add another one, "Those who are about to throw the first stone... ". :D
I'm sure there are equally great liner notes in the Koran just the same.

Just pick out the GOOD things and ingnore the rest of it I think. I guess that makes me an agnost as well. Though, deep in my heart, I'm more of an atheist. ;)

My family have never been of the religious kind and have never put any kinds of pressure on me to do certain things. I have tried fasting myself, but after I got some bladder problems due to lack of water that's when I had to stop forever. Really I find some of the stuff that you are required to do in a religion ridiculous, but if it gives people inner peace then I guess that's an advantage . Not for me though, I find it hard to believe that there is a supreme power out there.

My family has never been the religious kind either. Atleast my immediate family anyway. My family in india on the other hand, very religious. Especially my grandmother and my uncle on my mom's side. When I went to india a few summers ago, we went to quite a few temples and it was painful. Although in one temple I got blessed by elephant. lol. In case your wondering what that is, you basically give some money to the elephant and ittakes it with his trunk and it puts it down and then taps you on your head. Well it was more than just a tap. There is actually this one temple in south india where my mom used to live that is on top of a hill and you have to climb over 2000 steps to get to it. I'd definitely like to try it someday.

Well said, Karin :worship:

I mean the things like "no lying", "no stealing" etc etc that are part of nearly every religion was a big part of my upbringing anyway, without the religious reference to it, however. For me, believing in a religion should be a thing to find inner peace, and not to create global war like it has done for centuries. I hate it when they force people into believing stuff they don't want to believe, I hate it when countries dictate what the other's faith should be. Religion should be something personal in my opinion.

:) - I'd like to take it even further - I happen to believe that one does not need any a religion to believe that any of the points you pointed out right there are bad/wrong or right.
If there's anything pissing me off BIG TIME right now, it's the concept of people claiming that they are 'better people' just because they claim to be religious. :help: :ras:

Well, eh - NO!!! in all, eventually, it's just a matter of 'treat people the way YOU want to be treated! - friendly, courtagiously, with RESPECT, whatever their circumstances!
I think it's a rather arrogant claim of the 'religious folks' to think that they are better at that than the non-religious folks, in fact....

You don't have to believe in any kind of a 'god' to be able to accept that as a guidance in your life... at least that's what I believe in.
Unless you're not brought up appropriately, of course. ;)

Tarrie  You haven't been here much these days, have you? Things are fine with me, thanks :) How about you?
Yeah, yeah, it was. I'm rather happy that Ferrero and Hewitt won a title... It feels sort of nice when one of those "old" players win something :)

:wavey: :wavey: :wavey: Hi folks!

So I gather that THIS is the chat thread right now, no? :)
Correct me if I'm wrong about that...

I'd just want to say "Hi!" to you all, and tell you that I've indeed had a wonderful weekend. :D

So happy that I indeed managed to get that 20 km+ hike done. Report is over here. (http://solarfallsrealm.livejournal.com/295930.html)
I was a bit worried about it, as I hadn't engaged in any a long distance hike for over 6 months... and well, in the past, I got some blisters all too often, and two years ago, it accumulated into some hamstring injury, as one actually starts walking without technique when one's being plagued by blisters. Wobbly, wobbly... :help:

30 kms next weekend. On NEW SHOES. :p Heh. I hope I manage!

20 kms, well done, Karin :yeah: 30 kms

Not even to mention those sillies who think it is a reasonable idea to CUT into a healthy bod... :help: - okay, I am from a different generation.

That said - my dear friend, who got diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of weaks ago - she's cleared!! :bounce:
That's awesome news, Karin :yeah:

You just do not want to know... Chantal has been *given up*...
And the first thing I will do tomorrow morning is call her up - as I should have done a couple of days ago, already. Damm, she's merely 32 years old.

 My sympathies  It's always sad.. especially when she is that young.

I loved A-ha on their heydays but haven't heard or seen them for quite some time. A new album will be great. I should check it out when it comes out. (Let me take a peep at Non-tennis thread in a minute.)

Tarrie

Sorry I went away without saying good-bye, but my PC crashed and I didn't wanted to restart it because it was already late and time for me to go to bed.

a-ha recently played three concerts in South America and have already announced tourdates for Great Britain later this year. Their new album is according to Pal coming out in September.

I am great. Thanks for asking. Hope you are doing well also.

Good to hear that you are doing great. I have this week off until Saturday, which means I will be able to see some tennis - so I can't complain :)

I don't have much interesting question for now, I am afraid. :o

So you get the order of today from me, to think about a question  j/k

But I certainly love to read my fellow Fed fans' comments which make me feel like I have friends who love tennis and Roger. :D

:)

They are a Norwegian band right? I haven't heard much of their music but there is always this song that I always listen to:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Q6gte_HH-_s&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Q6gte_HH-_s&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Yes, Nadine, they are coming from Norway. They have been one of the most popular bands in the 80ies and managed a quite successful comeback in 2000. Some of current musicians say that they have been inspired by the band.

"Hunting high and low", which is also the name of their first album, is one of my favourite songs and it's always special to hear the song at a concert, when the crowd is singing the chorus.

Marco played the year before I visited Halle first time, he was injured the two years after. But as he has Halle as his practise base and his coach is usually there, I guess the chances are pretty big indeed :) I hope so. If Marco doesn't come to Holland, I should go to him :p

Germany is at least not that far away as Australia to go to see him :p

Try to make it remember you what a devoted fan you are

Oh well, they are an important part of my life. I grew up with their music and the songs helped me through a difficult moment in my life. Beside this I have so many great memories regarding to them :)

Yes, I like Ferrero too :D It's been 5 1/2 years  Since Madrid 03, if I remember right... So it's awesome that he won a title again, esp after all his injuries and stuff :)

I have never been a fan of him, but it's nice that two of the veteran players won a title this weekend. Lleyton also won a tournament and had his little girl at the trophy ceremony on the court :awww:

But I try my best not to defend Feddie in GM- it just gets you right in a big hole, though when they start off with the words tosser and pussy :ras: that is when I start getting a "bit" angry. I shouldn't bother really, but they do like to push it at times I feel :(

It's not always easy to stay away from GM, but sometimes it would be the best solution.

Unfortunately I often take a lot of what is written over there way to seriously, which I shouldn't, but I just can't help myself.

I must admit that some posters, especially in GM, scare me. That's why I waited a year before joining. I suppose it's all in good fun though.

GM is indeed a strange place. Always when you think it can't get any worse there are threads and comments which prove you wrong.

Maybe he is, indeed, but well, things like this DO happen. People's feelings about each other may change in the course of time... and at times one just discovers the Significant Other just isn't the 'right' one even after a very long time... but that still doesn't make it any less worse to drop the bomb just like that. Especially if you've been together for over three years. :(

I can imagine this  Did he asked you whether you travelled to Australia just for the tennis?

Have you read by the way that Marco attented Roger's wedding? :)

Oh, did our chat thread get closed as well? I didn't know, I haven't been to MTF for 1,5 weeks. :p

Good to see you again Venla  Have you been away for Easter vacation?

Hey I've got a question for you guys. If you've been dating a guy for about three years and then he decides to break up with you through a text...thats not right is it??

 That's what I thought Karin. No it didn't happen to me but before Roger's match my best friend came over in tears and she was absolutely devastated. Her and her bf had said the 'I love you's' to each other and everything. :( We all thought he was going to pop the question soon...I'm just asking because he seemed like such a good guy...but Britten (my friend) is just in shock mode and she's sleeping right now at my place...but my this came as such a surprise.

Maybe he's a commitment phobe  but I am quite confused because I thought they were crazy about each other...sigh.

Blair (that's your name when I remember right) [we really need a list like the one Claire had on the first page of the original chat thread, where she wrote down the usernames and the real names] : I'm sorry for your best friend, but it's good that she has someone caring at her side in this difficult moment. It's really unfair that her boyfriend wasn't courageous enough to talk to her himself and explain her his feelings. To end a relationship via a textmessage is cowardly. Did he mentioned a reason for his decision?

I've been fine, devoting too much time to my last year of high school. But I've decided on a university to attend next year, and it's almost exam time, and I can start a while new part of my life. :)

At first he looked at me with a surprised face saying "Wow, that's a far trip!" but he was still in his practise so he finished that first. Afterwards he came to me, told me that it was a big surprised and he asked me what I was doing there. I told him about my 2 months trip, like always he was all interested and asked plenty questions. He is such a nice guy :)

As noone has made any suggestion for a new question of the day I'm asking the new one:

Which are your 5 most unforgettable matches on clay you have seen?

I would name the Daviscup match between Stich and Tschesnokov where Michael lost after wasting 9 (!) MP's, the Roland Garros finals between Lendl and Chang, Kuerten and Norman, Gaudio and Coria and the Rome final between Roger and Rafa :)

hello Rita :wavey:, everyone :wavey:
Probably less expectation would serve me best, or yet, no expectation at all. ;) I just hope Roger would find himself again sooner than later. I don't mind he plays and losses these clay tournaments but I would LOVE to see he does well or (even win) Wimbledon again. Roger + Grass = TENNIS at its BEST :angel::angel:

I fully second your post, Tarrie. (hope I didn't make yet another mistake about your name here... :awww:)

Most of all, I want to see Roger being happy again. I know he is off-court, but I'd like to see him enjoying his game again as well... and I have to say that I haven't seen as much of that as I wanted lately. Selfish, I know.

Karin! I have a confusing name. :o:o :D

I have to agree with you too. I was so happy when I saw him won double with Stan. He was so child-like, so happy. IMO, that joy continued until US Open and slowly fade away again. I wanted to cry when I saw him breaking racquet again. It seems to me that he felt helpless out on the court. I really hate seeing him that way.

At first I thought he would feel less pressure when he started to lose a bit more, but it hasn't been the case I am afraid. I really wish he could enjoy playing, competing again; win or lose. And when he does, it is likely he can play better because the game is still there. ( I also wish his back is not bothering him so much.) I really wish he could be happy on as well as off court because he spends so much time on-court.

I'll support him no matter what but I do hope that he is still enjoying his tennis, I wouldn't want him to just keep on going if he doesn't enjoy it anymore & it doesn't make him happy. But thankfully I don't think it's come close to anything like that, I think his "slump" is just the normal course of a career & that needs to be adjusted to both in terms of our expectations for him & his own expectations (no player is no.1 through their whole career, everyone, even players like Sampras had blips & bad times) I still don't think that it's been that bad result-wise, performance-wise a little down from what he used to do but he's still reaching Slam finals & semis each time so I'm not entirely sure how bad a slump it is

I doubt we'll see the kind of domination from him like in 2004-2007 but I'm still happy to watch him play, support him in whatever he does & see what results he can get now that he has other things to fight like the age factor, injuries & improved competition from the younger players around him. I'm also not particularly bothered by his ranking or results in what I deem the more minor tournaments (ie: anything outside the slams). I would far rather he win only slams & no other tournaments in the years til his retirement, to me they are the most important tournaments to win. If he's still winning slams then I don't care what his ranking is. ;)

I have a question for the day
What are your expectations for roger this clay season?

Well, what can you expect when their is this guy around who is nearly unbeatable on clay and has never lost a best of 5 match on that surface? Roger knows that Roland Garros is the tournament which counts and he has been in the finals there now 3 years in a row. It wasn't meant to be for him to win that tournament so far, but I'm pretty sure he is still motivated to get the title there.

I hope he is better prepared when he plays in Rome next week as when he entered the tournament in Monte Carlo, but apparently that's the case as it was stated that he invited Stefan Koubek for a practice week.

Tarrie, don't forget that there is still the record of Pete which is waiting. That's a huge pressure on his shoulders.

Haben viele Deiner Mitschüler Deutsch als Fremdsprache gewählt? :)

(Did a lot of your fellow students choose German as foreign language?)

I'm learning French at the evening classes and at the moment I'm unsure whether to continue after the summer holidays. The grammar is killing me and unfortunately I'm too lazy to really learn for the language during the week. I had French 4 years at school (long, long time ago) and meanwhile I'm learning it since 2 1/2 years at the evening classes, but it's so difficult to keep up with a language when you don't really use it.

I will do so, might take a bit before I have it written though. There simply were too many great experiences during those days at the tournament.

Je suis d'accord cher amie. But I still love this beautiful language.

German grammar only seemed hard because it was completely foreign to me, I never developed that set of grammatical structures since my language acquisition as a child involved the latin and romance language phonetics.

Howdy all. :bigwave:

My expectations for Roger during the rest of the Clay season, Well to make at least the semis at Rome and the Semis definitely at Roland. Therefore keeping alive his semifinal slam streak. ;) (this is more like my hopes, but I still believe he's got the game to produces still these kinds of results)
