Good sign indeed Choupi
And don't worry too much about the work front ;)

Need you guys to keep yr fingers crossed for me next Wednesday as I'll be in the hospital then.
Need surgery but fortunately it's not too serious. Only 1 day in hospital.
Had a big scare last month when they saw something in my breast when I had a routine check up.
Had to get MRI and biopsy taken immediately but fortunately the result was ok.
But to avoid risks it has to be removed anyway.
Ugh, I missed this  Sorry you had such a hard time Martine. Glad things went well though.

It makes me think AGAIN about how I should really think about having a mammogram done. I am always so worried about there being something wrong with me but I haven't bothered to get that checked out.

Been snowing, heavily, for 5 days now here. Have a hard time remembering when we had so much snow around. Maybe when I was a little kid...thankfully I don't need to go to work or anywhere else. Got snow up till middle of my thigh :tape: It's beautiful though.

Booked my tickets for Stuttgart, like every year in December.

Yes, it wasn't too bad. Playing Xbox with Kavcic's old coach who is now working with Zemlja during the rain delays. The food was hilariously bad at the club.

Choupi
02-10-2011, 10:53 AM
Results don't always reflect what we're seeing on the court. But that's just the way it is. At least, you saw good tennis and that's what counts.

Looking forward to some more reading, though I don't spend much time on internet those days. It's always a good delight finding some good stuff.

Haha I gotta laugh now. TC Weissenhoff, which is the place where I'm heading every year in Stuttgart, will have DC tie Germany vs France, at the same time as the qualies. Curious to know how they're gonna organize all this.

Action Jackson
04-26-2011, 07:15 AM
Maybe they will hold the qualies at another club.

Choupi
04-26-2011, 07:43 AM
Well the site of the event doesn't say so. There are other courts where they can play the qualies, apart from the Center Court. But they're really smaller. Should be fun. I may not be the only French girl wandering around this time.

This year you have to Gimeno-Traver pics as well. Andy is back there because he has a girlfriend these days and what happens in Bstad stays in Bstad.

It's shit that they compete against each other, it should be separate weeks like it was before. I knew one of my friends used to do the Bstad, Stuttgart and Kitzbhel triangle.

Choupi
06-04-2011, 11:01 AM
It's true that I "lose" some great names every year because they'd rather go to Bastad. But I'm not complaining. It's not fun when you got so many players you wanna see. You are running all time.

It's always under the surface with Malisse and never know when it will explode. Remember this question and answer, what a legend Dewulf is.

What do you think about the overall career of Xavier Malisse and what can he achieve in his last years on the circuit?

I still think he can make a good result. He makes me think of me quite a lot actually. Quite a (bad) character on court, quite relax and even shy off it. Not the most regular guy on tour, but tons of talent and he can make a result anytime. I hope for him that he can pull one out, like another title or a second week in a grand slam. But its hard because the concurrence is a lot bigger than when he started.

Unfortunately it didn't work out for him today :(
Had to follow the match on my phone so only the SB. So no idea what was wrong. Was it because of his own form or was Tomic too consistent?

Hi everyone here! :wavey: Long time I haven't posted anything but I'm lurking every now and then. Hope everybody's fine.

What's up with me? Well, my work place has never been so hellish as it's been lately. I'm thinking about leaving and finding another place. Actually, I'm doing all I can to change as soon as next school year. Can't stand it anymore. Makes me sick.
Discovered this weekend that I won't be able to go to Stuttgart next year because I'll be working and that's very sad and disapointing. The ones who know me pretty well here know what going there represents for me. I'm just disgusted. Anyway, nothing I can do about that.

That said, I'm pretty fine. Take good care of yourselves :wavey:

That's disgusting they won't allow you to visit Stuttgart that's your time of the year. It's like someone stopping me from going to the Aus Open.

There's no way I can find to solve the pb. And my relations with my boss are so tense that I won't take the risk to leave.

Thanks Sue. I have my fingers crossed I can find a new place for next year. Have some ideas already, need to work on them now. I like my job, it's my work place that I can't stand it anymore. All I want is to find a new place where I can actually do my job properly.

I don't let any bully make me unhappy. It's just that it's been too long now and too much of a disgusting behaviour. Towards almost everybody. My point of view is shared by many at work, and life is getting harder and tougher for the bulliers. Sweet revenge

Martine, it's so good to hear from you and see your pictures

May Joao and the dogs continue to give you the needed strength :)

Choupi, good luck in finding a new job. It must be really terrible to go to work when you don't enjoy it to be there. As you seem to go to Stuttgart every year your boss should know that it means something to you to have off at that time of the year. Hopefully there will still be a chance to solve the problem.

Choupi
11-26-2011, 07:49 AM
Eden, thanks. My boss can't know what going to Stuttgart every year means for me. Simply because the only person she cares for is herself. And, as we're in the middle of a big conflict -it's been the case for quite a long time now- I'm sure she will do everything she can to stop me from going. She could even say that I can go (as I have many bonus hours) and announce me some days before leaving that I can't, finding any reason to justify herself. She'd pay my bonus hours and I'd have nothing to say against that. Except that I'd have spent money for nothing in the end (tickets, train, hotel). And I don't wanna take that risk.

I need to find a new place so that next year, I have some new boss I can get along with.
