Meetings are fine- only 15 minutes. And my full morning has just ended. Can not wait to see the replay of Toad/Gonzo this evening. Sounds like it was a great match. Maybe good enough to put to disc!

Having paid close attention to your siggy, I just saw this (my ocean craving dazzled me first ):

"Being a woman is a terribly difficult task, since it consists principally in dealing with men."

yeah, men are the most complicated creatures on planet... and the most unreasonable... i do have to admit though, while trying to solve the puzzle, i can have a lot of fun in.... and outside of... ;)

I would say MOST men are very good blokes ;) As a woman in medicine I really did not have a bad time at all with any male supervisors or whatever you want to call them. But then again I kept quiet, did my work, never caused problems and refused to go in with a chip on my shoulder. I think I survived better that way. I do have stories told to me by others that are opposite but those gals liked to make waves( sorry couldn't resist the water comment) And then when I was in the Navy ( yes the water love again;) ) my ability to go with the flow and do my job well I might add helped.

I used that comment Justin because of a situation at work that will cease to exist in about 3 months. I have found that continued ability to keep my mouth shut has done wonders.

It's always good when Justin, Suey and the Getta are around, all the different dynamics.

Great results at RG. The Challengers have been going well. Luczak made the final in Furth playing Brzezicki, another cool and funny guy. Hajek won in Prostejov, not everyone likes the guy, but he provides me with some amusement.

The Aussies have qualified for the World Cup, it's one of the few sports where I don't mind them.

Jan got my attention at Athens challenger... first time experience always second to none...

...
few pros warming up... its a lot of food for thought when you see a warm up take place and it is only centred around the first 3 shots of a point... so practiced on foot are they at this stage that they need not a grinding workout - only to reaffirm that the confidence that they are taking control of the point when they can... this was stosur and thats the female game - first strike... i came home to find she brutalised cristea... from that one session, i could write a 15 week progression for a men's grasscourt prep... it is required i think for a coach to maybe not be at the cutting edge, but, to feel it... for a moment...
enjoyed so much watching the warm up routines... felt it was a somewhat mystagogic preaching... hehe, i'm not totally weird...

paris is a quality city... spent a lot of time walking around... eating the food... having a beer outside in the sun... some more food... chill out with another beer... get hungry... look at french ladies... down another beer.. sigh... eat a bit... ahh the ballet of life... i hadn't felt it on my previous visits, but, i could definitely work and live there this time i felt...

bet you didn't bend so low to touch the ground... to feel the inner vibrations from the land... hope doesn't seem too weird to believe...

well, I'm not always quiet... sometimes I tend to prefer an honest confrontation, obviously back scratching route is not really my style... yeah, always play fair and decent, yet it needs variety... ;)

Just had a look at the Stuttgart entry list. Not a bad field at all, and a gift among everything. Santoro playing Stuttgart :woohoo: I was starting to think I'd never see him again before he officially retires. This made my day.

Hearing you speak about Stuttgart, it's impossible for me to forget Metz and how lucky you were you didn't witness Marcos being carried off the court on a stretcher... last year...

Well I was working on that day, hence why I couldn't be at the venue. But one of my colleagues had some internet connection on his mobile phone, and we were checking the scores, as Marcos was scheduled last match. I was freaked out when he announced me the match had been stopped because Marcos retired. Been quite a long time before we knew why....and I was all the more freaked out.

There was a freaking MASSIVE car accident outside of our house tonight :help:

One speeding car hit another car and then lost control and ended up way further down the road where it crashed. Had about 4 fire engines, 5 ambulances, 5 police cars, multiple State Emergency Services vehicles to fix it all up which took hours. Still don't know if anyone was killed. I know the lady in the car that was hit initially is ok because she was being comforted at the side of the road, but the other car was obviously pretty bad

Stupid speeding drivers :(

I was shaking quite a lot when I came inside from seeing what happened earlier in the evening. Quite a sight to see so many flashing lights around your house.

makes me want to go do some driving in europe...

my favourite stretch of road to drive runs from Glen Innes to Grafton in Northern NSW, Aust... Gwydir Highway... it was a leg of my route of choice up to Northern Rivers/Byron Bay whenever i went to party for a weeked...

across the Northern Tablelands Plateau, good flat road, not heavily policed because of the distance between towns... its pretty much flat straights... taking you right to the edge of the Great Escarpment, dropping you down the side of a mountain, winding at a pretty low speed down amongst sub tropical rainforest... then you reach the river flats.. undulating hills... blind bends... all at a solid speed... great if you can manage to overtake in some of the few straightaways at this stage of the drive, but all it takes is one truck, and 20+ cars are held up forever... but, there in lies a challenge... takes around 90 minutes... and one of australias oldest cycle classics is on the route, but, goes the other way from Grafton to Inverell...

Just sent my CV to a job in Sequim, Washington at the base of the Olympic Mountains on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. OMG gorgeous area. Unfortunately although it is only 90 miles from Seattle where most of hubby's family are, it takes a few hours to get there. Small highways for the most part and 2 ferry rides

To be honest, that's the first time I heard about the Strait of Juan de Fuca. :o The idyllic description of the area attracted my attention... is there good scenery for it there?... immediately started googling around... ;)

I know I have had some bad ones in my workplace, but in a supermarket, managers don't stay at one store for much longer than a year - 2 at the most. Therefore it's a bit easier to try to sit through the hard times knowing that the shit will be shovelled out soon enough (then you have to hope that the next one is better). The Looch is an Aussie Beast worthy of a chase through multiple tournaments in one summer... i could stalk him... if only to let him know every day that he is the first Aussie since Fromberg to possess what most other aussies lack... proper claycourt knowhow... you know its the f***ing truth mate...

Marcos has a strained tendon in his left knee... he won't even be hitting at all until the start of next week... his availability for DC is in doubt, although he promised to the cypriots that he'll be there to play... yeah, he sounds stupid, perhaps he's only a liar... he spoke on cypriot media, you know, huge pressure on marcos to save the asses of the cypriot team and tennis federation, once again... his schedule: indianapolis (july 20-26), LA (july 27 - aug 2), perhaps washington dc (aug 3-9)... marcos will be ranked around 200 after wimbledon... so, it's all up to him in terms of where his future is at...

Each to their own. I mean there was the barbecue fiasco and the local Turkish community leaders stirring up crap, but I can understand why people from the occupied areas aren't exactly cordial with the people who kicked them out of their homes, and this is not just specific to Cyprus.

the Cypriot marijuana harvest must've been of a poor quality in that particular season... though, gauging the spirit in which he performed some rebel songs in a Melbourne backyard a couple of seasons ago, (or was it this year?) it would suggest that he doesnt mind singing a tune on a whim... heh heh... he's a good bloke this baggy... i just loved the way the aussie news media tried to paint marcos in a darker light from that youtube footage... but it didnt stick... baggy was too good for it...

It's not necessarily the technology is bad, in some cases it definitely is. Like anything it depends on how it it used, like dynamite it doesn't always get used for the right purposes.

Just reading some old Medvedev interviews, what a funny guy.

Medvedev has never been shy about voicing his opinions on just about any subject. Last year, he ran the gamut from soup (bashing of the food in the players' lounge) to nuts (sometimes counting himself among them). Yesterday, his candor and wit again brightened the day in the tomblike interview room under the stadium.

"The food is great this year, honestly," Medvedev said. "I think they changed the cook and the facility there."

Medvedev said that the U.S.T.A. president, J. Howard (Bumpy) Frazier, even sought him out during qualifying last week.

"He came to me and he said, 'It is really because of you that we changed the cook and we changed the facility,' " Medvedev explained. "So I don't know if he is real on that or not, but that is what he said. I am pretty sure that if I wouldn't have said anything and if the other players didn't agree with me, we would have had the same food as last year and we would get some poisoning."

Medvedev had some other complaints about the way the Open is run, but he would not divulge them just yet.

"Everyone talks about me not as a player but as a guy who complains," he said. "I have many suggestions about changes and I will give them to you as soon as the tournament is over for me. Then you can write them, smoke them, do whatever you want with them."

And how long does Medvedev expect it will take for all of his suggestions to be acted upon?

"If they move the way they moved with the food," he said, "by the end of my career it will be pleasant to play here."

i think healthy manipulation can be found in the places where arseclowns dwell... they need their vision adjusted... in actual fact, you have a humane duty to adjust it for them...

yes indeed.. i am actually quite motivated in that regard...

yeah man, i have not encountered him, yet he is spoken of quite frequently in tennis discussion...

interesting though... irish tennis histry interests me a lot... where did it all go wrong...?

The IRE Open starts next week.. second oldest tournament in the world and is a 15K futures... embarassing if you ask me, especially when you think of the recent Celtic Tiger economy... anyways, its a good time of year... i played the Closed Championships this year, on last week... honorary Irish i am now... ok, so, this guy, Scot Baron, 35, came out of nowhere, just cleaned up the field on his side of the draw... came out of nowhere and no one had seen him for ages... beat up the best in ireland domestically... while everyone was adjusting their strokes to compensate for the wind.. not this guy... just so clean... another guy who got to 300 in the world in 8 months then retired to go into finance, came out of the woodwork to play...

but this scot baron guy... he has 4 years on me... he gives me hope...

Anything Britney does is crap Suey. It's going to be warm at Wimblescum, most of the players I like are going to be gone today.

Had a shoe blow out, going to have to buy a new pair and that sucks.

Blasphemy :p
Ok here is an update on the work BS; the one who is an asshole has been mildly upping his harassement of me. Not enough to get him escorted off the premises ( I have another 2.5 months to go before he is officially gone but with vacations planned only 1.5 months of overlap). My lawyer has advised me to put the alarm system in the house on, and send an email to all my neighbors asking them to watch over my house and me since I am alone. Can you believe this crap? I don't think the ass would be that stupid to jeopardize his career but I am told that you never know. I always knew he was crazy but good grief/sweet jesus;) And if it gets worse? A temporary restraing order.

So yesterday I get a call from one of my neighbors whom I had forgotten was a US Marshall  I actually still feel rather safe and at work I have to just make sure I am not alone with the ass. The summer can not go fast enough.

This harassment is too much, having to get an alarm system, good that your neighbours are being vigilant. I mean there used to be a lot of lumberjacks in Maine, too bad he can't go missing in the forest.

:speakles: Sue... this is unreal... is it that serious?
If you wouldn't live that far away, I'd let one of my dogs keep you company. The jerk would be the one having a problem then if he showed up

That would be a good way of handling the situation Marti, but seriously this guy needs to go somewhere far away in another galaxy.

Just watching Haasi and Andreev, also got some challengers to watch as well. Yes, Marti I have been updated that blog.

Some good people post on Nadull´s chat like Getta ()and hum...other ones but I won´t go there just because they post there.
Anyway I´m just kidding. I won´t harass her. :p
I wish you luck in your work, he will be gone in 1.5 month?
