I am sure Roger must have very fond memories of Indian Wells, he started his, actually Indian wells kept one of his longest hardcourt winning streak alive and it was his first hard court masters series title. :yeah:

Bolelli might be a tough customer right now, but I think it's a blessing in disguise. At least he won't be allowed to be rusty and will be forced to get into full swing mode asap. Let's just hope for the best. If he doesn't get past Bolelli, he has no business of even being in IW at all. :cool:

I think it's a rather fair and balanced draw. Not an easy one, but every top player has his no. of Dark Horses on the way so I can see. The easiest parts are for Nadal and Djokovic I think, but only marginally.

Well, it's been the ATP policy for at least since 2002 to slow down every bloody court in sight hasn't it. I don't like it, as I think that variation in the game makes it more attractive, but well, that's just me I guess. (and plenty of others who have no power over those that think that slowing down everything is a good idea... :rolleyes: )

And I think you're quite right, Bolelli would be a great first match opponent. A very good player that will stretch Roger out well and will certainly be no walkover, but not quite as consistent and clutch so as to take use of any advantage he might get. I like Bolelli a lot, but sometimes he can really go into a semi-meltdown after he's doing so well. :o
