A gap in GM moderation

I have noticed a gap in moderation, namely during the evening in North and South America. Match result threads will go hours before being merged or inappropriate posts will remain there hours before being deleted because it's early morning in Europe, but early to late evening in the Americas. Can an American mod be appointed to cover the time zone gap? I don't mean necessarily American as in the country, but a poster who lives in North/South America. :wavey:

Oh, and I'm not starting this thread to nominate myself.

I don't think it matters so much where people are located as when the board's covered. Since Prabu stepped down as a supermod, there's been an undeniable gap during late night hours US Pacific time. It was evident during the AO and will become more obvious again during IW when matches go til 11pm pacific and later. Much of South America is 4-6 hours ahead of US Pacific time for parts of the year, so it's not reasonable to ask Fergie or Denaon to be around at that time, which is basically the middle of the night for them. Ideally we'd have someone in Australia and/or someone who stays up late in the western parts of America (north or south), but I don't think they're looking to add any mods right now.
