Well, I told myself not to bet on Moya again in this tournament after his hard win over Parmar. But I just can't help putting my money on him (maybe I'm destine to lose today). I thought he was tired. But sometimes two long battle means something more than tireness ---- the willingness to win. Moya could have lost deliberately yesterday since Ljubicic is not a bad player (and is in-form) and he actually lost the second set. No one would say anything if he lost. But the thing is HE WON. Maybe he really does want to go further in this tournie. If a guy as good as Moya wants to win (rather than just practise for US Open), I don't think an old bird can stop him.
Wayne Arthurs didn't play many matches this year. He's old and running downhill. Yes, he won over Pavel and Zabaleta. But both players are claycourt experts and neither of them are in form. I'd be surprised if he beat Ljubicic. Anyway, previous encounter between the two happened two years ago on hard court in Hongkong. Moya won in straight sets.
v$500 on Moya
