Last encounter, Monfils was the winner. Can he have a repeat?

I doubt it. Please vote.

I'll go for Rafa in 3

 he could cope with Tsonga's power but not Monfils?

Nadal comfortably, 6-4 6-2 or something.

I'm going for Rafa in 3 because 3 seems to be his "lucky" number this tournament.

If Nadal wins he will probably take it in maximum sets just like his last 5 matches

I think Rafa will come out firing to prevent a repeat of Doha and also a looming showdown with Murray won't be as fun with four three-setters beforehand, so much like he should have against Tsonga, I reckon he'll knuckle down and get this in straights, something like 7-5, 6-3.

Silly peoples, THE RAFA was coming back from an extended layoff when he last played Monfils :sport: Now he's coming off another Grand Slam victory. Highly different situation :dog:

Agreed. He looked quite fired-up last night during the first two games of the third set (even though that was because of Tsonga's theatrics with the umpire). That's the spirit he needs to bring to the court tonight. Enough 3-setters!

Nadal in 2

THE RAFA in 2 or 3 won't matter, Murray has no chance either way, it takes a lot more to tire THE RAFA than a few 3-setters :bounce::lol::bounce::haha:

I guess most likely Rafa in 2. but we'll see. Monfils was pretty average against Llodra.

Rafa is shit this tournament, but still manages to win. Dimitrov and Bolelli are shit, and Tsonga was tired. A fit Monfils is very much able to win. If he can win on outdoor hard, he can definitely win on such a fast court. I say/hope Monfils in three.

Don't understand why people are saying that Rafa is going to win easily...

Monfils was playing too inconsistent yesterday against Benneteau. Rafa will make him feel like a school boy.

I like Monfils, but Rafa seems to be determined to make it to the final at least.

Enough 3 setters for Rafa.

Nadal in two, and same for the final. This smells like clay. I like the smell of clay in the morning.

Nadal is going for the title there, never understimate Nadal, Monfils chances of winning this = 0
