Kubot failed attempt to qualify to an ATP tournament 12 times in a row (!) but finally advanced to the main draw in CdS.

The match with Gimeno was interrupted by rain twice: at 5:4 (setpoint for Kubot) in the 1st and at 3:0* (30-15) for Kubot in the third set. I don't know when the match was finished but for sure at least after 2 a.m. of local time...

First set was an amazing roller-coaster: Kubot led 4:1*, had 5 setpoints at 5:4* to find himself 1:5* and 4:6* down in the tie-break. Saved double setpoint and converted his 7th setpoint.
