I wonder if the fact that Klein is here on hard, instead of preparing for RG qualies on clay, will jeopardize his chances of getting the Aussie WC.

Insight on matches on Sun and Mon:
http://www.tennisalternative.com/news.php?readmore=488

In brief: Snobel has a great hair, Gooch has a GF, Irakli still plays during the practise sessions, and PimPim still serves big. Beck and Stakhovsky both performed beyond pathetic, Niland and Sergeyev are good at the defense etc. etc.

If anyone has any questions (also about the doubles) I can forward them to the person at the venue.

Why people aren't posting in the Izmir thread :ras:?

How that untalented player even can win matches??? Saw him at Davis Cup, full zero. And they are wrong with score Meffert. Bet365 gave it live and first set was 63, not 62 as they give.

OK since some people were waiting for it... but I have only from Tuesday so far. Despite it's delayed, it's really detailed. Looks like Bubka played a good match against Berrer and we must wait till the next match to know why he hasn't made a breakthrough :p (IMO his bh is weak and he makes big UEs  )

Got a feeling this tournament might be a big one for the Gooch and no I don't mean a quarter final appearance which would be amazing by Gooch standards but I mean a tournament finalist or maybe winner. He is coming off a doubles victory in Israel with Bastl where they defeated Erlich and Ram in the final and he beat Kudryavtsev indicating he must in decent form. Plus alot of the big names have been knocked out and Mrs Gooch is here giving him support so the motivation should be there.

Knowing Gooch he will probably now tank the next match now.

Reports are great Nathii, good to see the website is growing.

Anyway I'm a little bit mad at our Izmir reporter, as he/she helped me at TT yesterday but today I trusted the amazing words about Bubka and didn't pick Levy, which would be my original pick, so I lost the match :(

Just kidding, it's great :yeah:

lol that person wrote "I'd see why Bubka hasn't had a breakthrough already in his next match" you can be angry only with yourself for not paying attention to the written word :ras: I even quoted it on MTF  Apparently on Thuersday our reporter discovered his weakness - the backhand (I've seen Bubka some more times and also discovered it and wrote about it also on MTF :ras: ). Goodall seems to have a minor problem with his back but sadly not more info than that

Nice Pim-Pim! Take the titel!
With Pim-Pim and Vinci back on tour again the Swedish tennis all of a sudden looks pretty ok :-)))))

EDIT; F C U K,, I read on the swedish tele text that pim-pim retired from the tournament directly after the match. He said to his agent that this was easy his best match since his comeback, BUT... he felt an , don´t know the right word,, over-tensioning, that you get from playing to much, in his shoulder and therefore as an precaution gave wo to the semi-final. His next goal is to go to france and try to qualify for the French Open
