Well he was number 6 at the end of last year after having missed half the year, so I'm not sure how much you have to stretch your imagination to see him in the top 5? :shrug:

It was blisteringly hot down on court today. Thanks to Jo and Jim for an entertaining match. Certainly experience counted for Jo's win in the end. Wow, what an awesome forehand Chardy has. French tennis is looking so good right now. :yeah:

Now, Tsonga has a long flight to Rotterdam. I think it was the right decision to play Joburg, but scheduling Rotterdam right after is a task.

I've written in the other thread - he has great draw in Rotterdam. In the 1st round weak opponent, in the potential 2nd round out of form player... In the quarterfinal probably Nadal and it would be an entertaining match :)

I can speak only for myself, but I don't wish bad luck on another player or even dislike another player simply because that player once beat the player I support. Nadal is going to try his best against each opponent. If his best isn't good enough on that day, so be it.

I thought about his potential first two rounds. And Rotterdam isn't a clay court tournament. To be honest Nadal indoor is a good match up for Tsonga.

Tsonga is a real top 10, he isn't there now cause he was out of action for a long time last year. :p

Good win for Tsonga, he's really starting to show his quality now. I like Chardy too, he's making some really good progress. I won't be surprised to see him in the top 20 by the end of the year.
