First Indian to win the boys title at the AO, first to win a junior title since Leander Paes won the US Open.

He demolished Georgoudas 6-3 6-1.

Hopefully he starts playing a few more futures events over the next 12 months, there is no challenge for him at the junior level.

Congrats for Bhambri, great to see another young Asian player with excellent junior credentials. http://www.laymark.com/i/m/m087.gif (http://www.laymark.com)

I'm excited to see where he'll be at in 12 months time.
the transition to ATP will be interesting.

Just to say good luck to Bhambri. I read Bhambri was on fire in the AO final, but the stupid stream on the official site wouldn't broadcast that match, so gone was the chance to actually see him play. Grrrrrr. ;)

Was about to open a new thread but we can make this the official Yuki thread. :worship:
He's about to jump to the main stage with the Davis cup team, hopefully it's a blowout and he's got a chance to play on sunday (unlikely though).
BTW first video i found of actual play from Yuki, not much but worse is nothing.

He did it. :)
A great victory in his debut with the indian team to celebrate the return of India to the world group.

3-6 6-3 6-4 over Van der Merwe.
I'd be pleased if anybody can tell us where can we download the game.

2 easy victories in the first rounds for Yuki. Tomorrow he'll have a much tougher and experienved rival in Young-Jun Kim.
Go Yuki!!

Yuki will play the final vs Rupesh Roy on road to his 5th futures win of the season. If he wins will reach 350-360.
He's registered to play another future in Pune next week, i guess after that it's time to try entering the circuit of challengers.

Wow, this guy goes well and pretty unattended. I wonder if he will enter the Asian challengers coming soon, either with a WC or via qualifying.

Apparently Yuki withdrew from the Pune future, there were some reports that he finished really tired the last tournament so no big surprise.
All i know is that he's going to play an exhibition in Macao with Ryan Harrison and 2 other promising guys in the last week of October.;)
After that maybe decides take some rest and focus in studies and training for the rest of the year.

I don't know much about this kid how old is he, plus does anyone think he can make top 100. I think his about 240 in the world thats pretty good, well done hope he has a long career and lost of good tight matches with Bernard Tomic but the great Tomic will always get over the line, but Good Luck.
