Nadal has been playing amazing tennis but so has the french man, is Rafa going to revenge himself from that loss in front of his home fans in Madrid ?

This match will be an out and out war. Rafa in five (I hope)

Yes, Rafa in 4 something like 6-3 6-4 5-7 6-2, Simon is a fighter and an awesome player and therefore i fancy him to get a set, although from what i have seen from Rafa this week he should win the title let alone this match, Rafa in 4

Nadal in 3. I'm pretty sure.

Simon did not look all that good against Monfils, IMHO and this court favors Nadal plus he is also out for revenge.

One, maybe two long sets including a breaker.

Something Like 6-4, 7-6, 6-2.

Gilles in 4. :worship: Didn't play great yesterday but knowing Gilles, he'll probably rise to the occasion. Im expecting a BATTLE.

Should be a fierce war, but Nadal in 4

Simon played the match of his life to beat a drained Nadal last time out. He's playing a fresh Nadal now, keen to claim his first hardcourt slam. I don't see the Spaniard dropping a set here. As ever though, hope I'm wrong.

Rafa in 3 and it isn't even close. 6-3, 6-2, 6-4

Just a discouraging level of hate.

I don't know who will win. I hope for Rafa, but will be unsurprised should Simon take it :tears:

With all te recent Murray Hypemania, people had forgotten about poor handsome Gilles, wich, I think had almost a n equally good 2008...
This is his chance to prove what he is clearly underrated
The frenchie in 4 tight sets!

If Simon takes this to 4 I have Tsonga as a lock to beat a tired Nadal. It might be a little too much to ask from Verdasco I must say.

I would be devastated if Rafa looses. Hope Rafa wins in straights. He has to be ready for Tsonga from the jungle.

the only way simon can win this is if somehow simon is so consistent and counters rafas new game so well that rafa ends up having to play too big or something like the madrid match

I think that Verdasco is fit enough to beat Tsonga in 4, and I doubt that Simon can take rafa to a 4th set...

If Simon beats Nadal, then Fed has 14. Which he many anyway, but that would lock it up. If Fed gets it, he'll have to do it the hard way.
Nadal in straights, two of which are not close.

I'm definitely worried that this match will take a lot out of Nadal. Hopefully Nadal wins in straight sets so that he can be ready to face Verdasco. ;)

I wish both could win.

This is my final. I'm sure that horrifies Glenn. :p

My head says Nadal in 4. My heart hopes whoever wins isn't exhausted before the semis.

Nadal in 3. Simon is going to need a lot of Nadal errors to make it competitive.

Rafa in 3 without the shadow of doubt, he is in much better form than when Simon barely beat him in 3 sets.

Nadal should try and finish the points quick. If he wins in 3 or 4 it doesn`t matter for him that much.He would prefer a 4 setter win in two and a half hours then a 3 setter in over three hours

Good call. Perfect for Nadal, this may be the greatest shot at winning a hardcourt slam he will ever have. Only Federer can stop him now.
