Robredo dropped an average of two games per set in the previous three rounds. And now he barely made two games per set himself. But as said before, it was completely expected.

robredo was always overrated, but i didn't expect him to lose by that kind of margin. Roddick still will fall far short of being even considered for the title though.

Boredo doesn't like to meet players who, unlike himself, actually have a weapon.

Gobble gobble. Tommy the Turkey looks delicious. :lick:

Losing the extra pounds has made a huge difference in Andy's game. Tommy threw the kitchen sink at him in that first set and Andy was able to run everything down. :yeah:

Hopefully Novak will win his match and we can have a rematch of their USO quarterfinal.

Robredo was the only player left in the draw with less on his groundies than roddick.

Is their h-2-h 0-10 now??? Is Roddick a surprise finalist this year?

Roddick to defeat Djoko and the forehandless Fed and then go on to defeat an exhausted Nadal in the final?

Everything is possible...

this looks like USO 08 over and over again, the only difference is that last year Robredo took Djoker to 5 sets, but this section of the draw is almost the same

Andy played really well, I think he might have a shot at Djoker :yeah:

He had a bullshit draw in his previous 3 rounds. I was at his first 2 matches and he really didn't have to do anything special to beat Reynolds or Troicki. They both were very average. Lu was always going to be an expected win because players can very rarely back it up after knocking out a top seed like Lu did with Nalbandian. So Tommy was lucky to have a smooth run to the 4th round.

I wouldn't classify Troicki as a bullshit draw, and to drop that few games against a hardcourt player with a serve like Reynolds' is impressive to. The demolition of Lu was more expected.

Quite disappointed in the straight sets loss here, but Roddick seems to be doing really well. It would be great for the tour if he can join Murray, Nadal, Djokovic and Federer.

good win for andy, dont think hes winning the title but hes giving himself the best chance of going very deep.

i don't understand how robredo does this..

You see what we were talking about in that other thread, right ? Tommy will have to wait for some day with some unusual circumstances|(for example on clay with Roddick having a shoulder problems) to beat Andy. In a regular day, he hasn't got a chance.

duck for the title, definitely

He has some chances (a small small small ones) to beat Djokovic, but against Federer they are practically non-existing.

Totally expected, as Robredo is always a toy in the hands of Roddick, for me there's no place to surprise here. It's was 100% expected. You can see one fact, last year in Rome Robredo lost to Roddick and if he can't win Andy on clay...
Verdict: Robredo is a total mug.

10 wins in a row against Robredo now for Roboduck.
