Hello everyone. I'm new to this board, but I've enjoyed watching tennis for years. And thanks to Andy Roddick, I've gotten back into it.

lol, heh, no offence, but I'll never bash other players, I hate this people the most. I mean, what's wrong with just supporting your players? Why do they have to resort to bashing others? It's like, those Hewitt fans probably have more fun bashing Andy than talking about Hewitt, is that what you call supporting your players? I find that absolutely nonsence. I'll never bash other players, just hear to support my dear Andy, lol. Can't say I'm not guilty of it, but I realize it's wrong, so I'm reminding myself all the time not to do that. It takes the joy away from watching tennis, or any other sports.

As my "Why I don't like Hewitt" post is famous on Jenn's Andy msg. board, I don't bash him, do I? Seriously, I admire him for his skills, I just don't like the way he acts. And I don't say that I hate him either... he's a good player and I admit that...
but us Andy fans are WAY above the bashing people thing... we're much cooler than that, right?;) I guess Andy's way above the rest of the tennis world in attitude!

yea i just joined too cos i read what Mrs Guga posted in one of the yahoo groups too, and honestly i'm appalled!! i never expected player-bashing to be this bad lor, one'd think that tennis fans wouldnt go that low! and why is it that andy seems to be the main target for all the bashing anyway?? goodness!! some way of entertaining themselves perhaps, picking apart whoever they see as a threat in terms of skill? popularity? flambouyancy? thats exactly why we love andy isnt it?? for the passion he plays with? no? :confused:

lol, I love Andy for being so charismatic, and so talented, so big-hearted and friendly. His game is fantastic too, no doubt it still need some work, but he's still young, time is on his side.

Lol at Charzie, heh, i saw all the singlish coming in :D, better keep that to conversations between fellow singaporeans, they'll think we're weird, heh.

I can't believe that people bash other players, I know that there are certain players people don't like, but you don't bash them for the respect of their fans.

heh, lol, you went to Heeran and saw them?? I like them, but not enough for me to go there and be squashed, lol. they're one of the better boybands around though, must better than all the Westlife and A1 that's always coming here, lol.

yeah they are good! all the boybands coming here, its all good! at least it shows we arent being forgotten!

lol, i'll appreciate it if more rock bands come here though, I'm getting tired of seeing Westlife, A1 and F4 always here. The only decent band that came was Hoobastank a while back and I can't even go, coz i"m underage, gr....

This is so true. I have the same problem when I watch hockey. I live in Detroit where the Stanley Cup champions play, I really don't care for them, but I love a couple of the players. I have players from different teams that I enjoy more. When they come into town for a game, I go and root for the opposing team. I take so much crap from the "so-called" fans, that I really hate going to the games. I've been told to go home, when I live right here in Detroit.
I guess I just have more respect for the fellow sports fan then most of the "fans" do.l

They are great, I also love Westlife. I'm a big fan of the European bands, I just don't know what it is about them. :bounce:

everyone here is pretty much from outta USA, huh? I'm actually Thai but I'm American, if that makes sense! LOL- The Calling went to Bangkok? How COOL! I loved Westlife and a1 like, about 3 years ago! Gosh, I was CRAZY about them... I'm not now though- it's all about the American boybands and punk-rock bands... I'm not as music crazy as I was 3 years ago anymore though... I used to be SOOOOO teenybopper- I still am, sure but not as much. It's all about tennis now baby! I swear, I am SO tennis crazy... it's cos I play it myself and I'm actually good at it!!! :D LOL... I dunno...
What is everyone's favorite bands right now? N'Sync, Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, Michelle Branch, O-Town, Green Day are a few of my favorites... I also used to really love Josh Hartnett and Hayden Christensen- I still do love them a lot but I love Andy about a million times more! :drool:

yeah they went to bangkok, but they cancelled their concert cos aaron got zapped by his guitar or summat (??)

heh, lol, can't actually say I'm a teenbopper, but I dont' label myself, my favourite bands are Lifehouse and Good Charlotte, and for some classic, Nirvana, heh. There's this band coming up called Phantom Planet that sounds really different, they're good though, I'm wondering whether to buy the album.
As for guys in general, lol, I'm basically crazy over soccer players, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Rafael van der Vaart, Joe Cole, there's too many to name, tennis players, Andy is totally my no. 1 and Haas is really really hot too. Actors, hm, I just watched Chocolat, and I finally realized why people are so crazy over Johnny Depp, he is so sexy! lol, heh, ok, never mind, as can see, i'm quite guy-crazy lol. I met this Russian climber at rock climbing world cup a few weeks ago, i took a pic with him and now i'm crazy over him, wonder if i'll ever see him again, lol.

Hey Dana!! Go to blue's official site and check out the preview clip of "One Love"!! First listen i didnt find it that nice, after a few i think its really pretty! Its got the same heavy beat as all rise, but its got a little sad vibe to it, not like the catchy clubby anthems. But I love the chorus! I deciphered some of the lyrics i could post em later if you want! Listen to it more than 3 times and i guarantee you'll fall in love with it too!

his name's serguei sinitsyn, and yep, he's in the x games, that's why i'm so happy about the x games coverage, lol. He's the one the finished third, you know the one with the red cap, but he didn't wear that when he was here, he had purple streaks in his hair so he wore a headband to show it off. I also got pics with the x games gold medallist, maxim stenkovoy, he's so totally cool!

maxim set a new record he's amazing! did he keep the purple streaks in his hair?? i hope he did!! i have a thing for guys with streaks of colour in their hair! i think he's not at his prime yet, he's gonna be big i say!

heh, maxim's not the guy with the purple streaks in his hair, it's serguei. but maxim's the one that set the new record. he's great too, i got a pic with him. he's a ukrainian by the way. i'm not sure who i like better, coz serguei's so cute!

lol, we're talking about a russian speed climber called Serguei Sinitsyn. Anyway, yep, Rock Climbing World Cup was here on Aug 24th and 25th. I went to both days of the comp and got to meet Maxim and Serguei!! Of course there's lots other climbers there, but I'm only interested in them, lol! Serguei's totally gorgeous in person!

Wow, there's a Rock Climbing Cup? How awesome- there's a cup for everything these days, huh? I wonder if there's a Twister Cup.. maybe a Chess Cup... ooh, how about a Marbles Cup?- wouldn't that be wacky?! We should have an "Andy Roddick Fan Cup"- hehe! But rock climbing rocks.. i LOVE it.

i think bowling for soups good too, but they need to tighten up their sound a little, sorta like make sure all their songs are single material and not just a select few. simple plan absolutely rocks! i luv pop punk!

heh, lol, yeah, me too. My friend's introduced me to this another pop punk group called Brand New, they are pretty good too. But GC's still my absolute fav in terms of punk!
