Nice first two sets, amazing offensive tennis, then Blake went sleeping a bit, Dancevic rose to the occasion, interesting third set, James brings it home in teh end in style...

Phenomenal third set! Looked like a great crowd too. It's just a shame Dancevic couldn't find another gear earlier! Very nice from Blake on the FH side.

Interesting match :yeah: I'm surprised Blake won two games in the third set from triple breakpoint, usually he can't deal with those situations, this time his 1st serve worked well on breakpoints, maybe it's a matter that Dancevic is rather poor receiver.

Nice play from Frank. Some great rallies in that match.

Frank's new hairstyle is a great improvement too.

Solid from James. He mixed his serve really efficiently, and finally his forehand and passing shots clicked in the right moments. James also played some great backhand returns and a few nice lobs. A little bit inconsistent at Dancevic 2nd serve returns but still self-confident. There was one highlight with a long rally ended by James beautiful forhand slice reply to Frank dropshot. Could be quicker if he managed to break at 2-0 40-15 in the 3rd set.

It's official, Blake's hunger is back. Streaky Frank is rarely anything but entertaining in his win-all or lose-all attacking play, but Blake's power game was really too much for him in the first two sets. Then Dancevic recovered from 0-2 0-30 in the third, flipping it around to 3-2 and 40-15 on the American's serve. Blake saved those break points, and had to save several others in what became a really feisty third set. Dancevic became the recipient of some really hard stare-downs from Blake, and on two passing shots near the end it was a case of the man from from the USA trying to win the match through an early knock out. As far as I could see, Blake's only genuine grievance was that Dancevic had started to play much better, and he didn't need to get so unpleasant about it. Nevertheless, the match ended on a high note, and too bad that the standard wasn't higher earlier.

Frank will not put together a consistently good match until I stop picking him for upsets :(
