This surface is so ideal for Tsonga that he can beat Murray and even win the tournament there if he's fit, that's for sure !

Monaco is obviously not playing as well as he was a year ot two back but I thought he was still a potentially tricky first round opponent, so it was reassuring to see JWT go through with ease and appear OK physically.

I hope Tsonga makes it at least to the semis; I really like watching him play.
