If he can stay healthy(that's a big if),Tsonga will be in the top 5.
For instance, Del Potro is often mentionned but his record against the big 4 is quite poor comparing to Tsonga's record against the big 4

Del Potro is younger and newer than Tsonga : you cannot make comparisons like that, between a match by Del Potro when he was 19 and a match by Tsonga last year.
And as for Tsonga, as you say, that's a very big "if".
