Oh man!, so sad to watch! :o I hoped Nico Massu would win after seeing him winning the 4th set but nope.. seems like his head is not the same as before, ...pity...

Oh well, congrats to Almagro

:rocker2: Massu
Honestly a much better showing from Nico M then I thought I'd see. Good to see him fighting back after being down 2 sets instead of giving up :yeah:

:hatoff: Congrats to Almagro-good luck in the next round! :)

As i read in the newspaper.
Almagro's coach (they had been together for 15 years or so) left the cour after Nico lost the third set because Almagro shouted something like "You can't help me". He was already in the hotel when Nico asked someone to send a sms to his coach "Please, I need you here". The coach came back and finally Nico won and after match point asked his coach to forgive him with his hands.

CRAZY!

Pretty fun match judging from the parts I saw. Doesn't bode well for Almagro that he was taken to a fifth set against this Massu, though.

Don't expect a long run here for Almagro. He can't hit a running forehand

and Massu complaining about a ball? :o

he should have stopped the game and such, but he kept complaining and complaining and since his mind was on the lost ball, he lost the match :o

Entertaining stuff, Almagro being a prick as usual, Massu hanging tough there and he got a nasty call against him on break point at 5-4 in the 5th, it would have levelled up the score and it would have been difficult for Almagro to win from there imo. Anyway there´s some hope for Chilean fans as I think Massu played a decent match, getting better as the match went on

Massu played well in the last 3 sets, he was actually hitting his off forehand, though the grunting on the slice was priceless.
