BANG BANG

Melzer looked very good today. Watch out Murray, The Jurgenator is about to run wild on you.

Jurgen will finish the job he this time unlike in New York.

Be afraid Andy, be very afraid.

Yes, Melzer played very well. His passing shots were particularly effective today.

Obviosly Kei lacked preparations (he resumed practiting on court on Saturday) and he was a bit more erratic than usual.
He didn't show any signs he was in pains, but to me he lookes like he wasn't hitting his FH as sharply and hard as usual (probably to avoid the pains to recur?).
Hopefully this loss is a blessing in disguie so that he doesn't push hard while being less than 100%. He had no point to defend at AO anyway.
Good luck in San Jose, Kei! :rocker2:

nishikori's body language was bad, don't know if there's an injury bothering him, or he just doesn't enjoy the heat.

melzer was pretty good, though.

nishikori's body language was bad, don't know if there's an injury bothering him, or he just doesn't enjoy the heat.

melzer was pretty good, though.

He had suffered an arm injury and pulled out of Auckland, so it wasn't a total surprise that he didn't seem 100%.

Well done to Melzer, though, he looked very solid and could very well be due for another epic Murray match :)

Obviously not everything was good with Nishikori but it's good to see Jordan's big joy after his favourite player's win :D

Melzer does this sometimes and gets smoked the next match.

I was expecting an upset here so I was a bit surprised at the ease with which Melzer won.
