Sucky serving from rusty, esp the dfs on bps & the df to give nalby mp, couldn't contend with the wind conditions.

Nalby lookin good after the 1st set breakathon. :yeah:  :yeah:

Yeah..in fact im watching the first set tie break again

Nalbandian dominating the match from the start

Started really aggressive but then like let Lleyton grow

He had a 3-1 lead in the first set..and Lleyton seemed a bit "caged".. but then Nalbandian hit a couple of silly errors in the service return department, made lleyton win an easy game to go *3-2.. Right there, nalbandian went 15-40.. got to 30-40 and lleyton broke to go 3-3

Nalbandian got in the game and broke and hold to go 5-3.. when then again let lleyton dictate play.. he pretty much from then let lleyton make the choices.. nalbandian looked like he was waiting to see what will hewitt do..

He (daveed) ran out of variation..and only played simple shots (i gotta say it was pretty windy).. while lleyton was looking for variations and different shots

at 5-6 (nalbandian serving) david saved 1 set point..

Tie break was when we saw nalbandian winning by a tad of class.. like, a couple of nice touches including a backhand "smash" dropshot and a couple of nice shots (he started moving lleyton around and variating his shots here a bit more)

lleyton fought of course, potato is still in the game :p but nalbandian focused on the right moments.. still you get the feeling nalbandian had it to win 6-3 6-3 but.. well.. this is nalbandian, he ll never win easy..

Hewitt looks strong and fit. But he still hits the ball short and I rarely saw the aggressive ground game that he was supposedly working on with roche. He is playing better than whatever his ranking is but he will lose badly to djokovic, federer and nadal.

Those matches weren't as easy as they look on paper. I'm pretty sure Rafa got to deuce in at least one of Nalby's service games.

The match would have been much better if there was no wind. Strange thing was that Nalbandian made almost of of his UE's not when he was going for the ball and played offensively but when he was trying to play safe.

I can't count the times that when Hewitt is playing, I am yelling at the TV: "Play the ball deeper, DEEPER, you idiot!"
