Lleyton started to play well. Tipsarevic went all or nothing. It worked for half a set and didn't work so much the rest of the match.

Hewitt, could make to the quaters of AO.

More likely he melted and the blister on his thumb is not helping.

Nalby seems to be in good form seeing as he easily took care of Llodra who is always a dangerous floater.

Definitely was an improvement from his last match against Benneteau

Hewitt, could make to the quaters of AO.

Let`s not get carried away.Hewitt played a solid match but let`s not forget he is unseeded at Australian Open.If he gets drawn a top 4 seed in the first 2 rounds i doubt he has any chance.
His goal is not to win tournaments at the moment but play matches to get some of his lost rhythm back

Much better performance by Lleyton than first round, I only hope this is good signs and he keeps building on it. It'll be a tough next match but I think he can pull it off :D

The next match should show us if he is to be taken more seriously, but still two decent wins. Dont expect much from Lleyton tbh.

I'm not. wonder what the chances of him winning the Aussie open are haha

Still it's a great result so far for someone who missed 4 + months of tennis. I don't think any of the top 4 will be looking forward to drawing him early in the AO.

There's more than 100 players in the AO main draw who are thinking, I hope I don't get Hewitt 1st round.

Solid tennis from Lleyton, much better than round 1. Nalbandian will be a very interesting test

Am I the only one who thought Tipsy tanked that last game?

Once again a slow start, Lleyton could have easily lost the first set being down 2-5. Good comeback though, semi choke at the end of the second set, got a little tight. But all in all, good match, and I'm sure he'll only get better. He has a good head to head against Nalbandian, so I think it is a wnnable match. Hopefully he gets a good draw at Melbourne. I'm nervous he'll draw the likes of Federer, Nadal, Djokovic or Murray early on, as he's unseeded.

nice to see Hewitt back on track, but on the expense of Tipsy it's  I thought this will be a 3-setter though.

now Hewitt-Nalbandian one is gonna be a classic!

Lleyton won and this is important for him. Next match will be interesting. Good luck Lleyton. We shouldn't expect too much from this beginning of the season. considering he didn't play a lot in the past months.

Would you wanna be one of the top four guys that has to play Hewitt in the first two rounds? Hell fucking no. Lleyton's gonna have fresh llegs. I'd love to see him beat Djokovic.

Maybe Hewitt's self-generated pre-season hype wasn't all hot air. All that talk of 6-hour training days and looking to return to the top 10 seemed laughable in the light of that 6-2 6-2 loss to Blake and that scrappy contest with Benneteau. But this result is an indication he might be bringing something after all. If he comes up against Djokovic or Federer in the Australian, I see him getting blown away, but encounters with Nadal or Murray early on could be interesting -their styles will give him a chance to play his game, at least.
