Only 2 years too late, but at least when he coached LaLo, at least Costa in the stands made it worth watching.

it was down to him and Corretja, and since the players wanted Albert, it's a wise choice :yeah:

:worship: Costa

I wish him good luck, it's not always easy to follow somebody after a great victory.

Pleased for him, although I thought maybe Corretja would have been more fitting?

How do you guys reckon he will do?

Costa will do well in the job, I wonder if he will give up coaching LaLo?

That partnership had already ended as of the end of the 2008 season. It was never supposed to be a long-term thing. He was just doing it to help a friend who needed a coach, but he ended up staying on longer than intended.

They both , Almagro and Granollers are better than the dumb ballbasher . His surname says it all ..Da-Asco

Obviously depends how Mucho starts the new season, but on a typical day I'd rate him over Nando for a clay court match. But, while Nando isn't great at raising himself for the big occasion (with the recent exception of DC final), Mucho is almost worse (remember some of his French Open defeats?). :help:

Granollers isn't worthy of a live DC singles rubber just yet...obviously not helped by the fact that Costa could draw on a number of strong(er) players ahead of him in the rankings. As for doubles...well, I didn't have him down as a candidate for that rubber, with Lalo/Verdasco now an established pairing.
