Who do you think will take a big step next season? Our hopes are for sure for Fico Krajinovic, but do you see an other player who can "explode".

I just have this feeling that Obradovic and Savic will make a good year, and hopefully Ilija Vucic.

AJDE! :D

Hm... what does actually mean "explode"? As far I can see, nobody on the list is too young, so I doubt that they will do significantly better than this year. :)

^You should still follow them, coz u never know. I doubt any of these players will ever crack the top 150, but even then, they are the next level of Serbians. They aren't Djokovic, Pashanski, Troicki, Tipsarevic, Vemic, etc., but they are the Serbs I mentioned above of a different level.

Some of them improved their rankings since the first post.
Ciric may break into top 400, he won ITF HOLLYWOOD (FL,USA), clay, 10000 $
SF: NIKOLA CIRIC (7) - NICOLAS TODERO (ARG,6) 6-4 3-6 7-6(7)
F: NIKOLA CIRIC (7) - MATEJ BOCKO (SVK,WC) 6-3 6-3

lol never heard of him. Only birth date and ranking http://www.atpworldtour.com/3/en/players/playerprofiles/?profileinquirey=pi&playersearch=Strilic :tape:

He has 2 points and played Serbia F3,F4 and F5 last year. Only 1 win.

EDIT: Looks like that's all he does, plays Serbian futures, maybe just for fun :spit: Checked activity for 2007 and it also says Serbia F3, F4 and F5

Yeah it was a good run for Niko! He won a tough battle against Aleksander Slovic in the quarterfinals aswell. They are playing this week in the states to, an antoher good run for Ciric may give him a WC in to the Gemax Open? Krajinovic will get one for sure, 2 more to go, who do you thin will get it?

Dule,Ciric,Obradovic and Slovic? Maybe an 100 top player..

If by Dule you mean Vemic, he won't play this year. He's concentrating on doubles, I think that week they'll play Memphis.

I'd give them to:
-Krajinovic
-Ciric
-Obradovic
-Vemic

lol I would, too, but unfortunately he will not play :awww:

But I hope he'll decide to play ATP Belgrade in May

Yesterday I watched Ciric - Zlatanovic and Bjelica - Mladenov.
Today I watched Slovic - Zekic (Alex played really well, poor Zekic, he has a psycho father :tape: :awww: Miljan was telling him all the match to leave him alone...), Tosic (MNE) -Ianni (ITA) Goran was on fire :rocker2: and Bjelica -Bradaric (CRO) til 7-6 6-7 I had to leave then :awww:
Now I can't find the result.

But I met Dule!!!!! :D

Little late response, but I think Zlatanovic and Lajovic might do that, maybe even more, potential is there. Now, are they able to get proper funds for training and traveling to tournaments...their own commitment to tennis...not getting injured like Zlatanovic who lost 8 months or so...so much factors needs to align for one to make it all the way.Wish them both all the luck.

I don't know if you saw him recently... What I saw at Olimp futures during the F1, his behaviour and everything...He acts like a 'gang' member all the time, his nose is high in the sky, but he didn't show anything on the court. I don't see him making any real progress soon. Maybe I'm wrong.

So he played 2 matches day on saturday and sunday and won them all. And he managed to qualify to Sombor futures today, quite an impressive streak. I wonder how far he can get this week. Good luck.

Katic made a leap to #830 after his title is calculated, next week he will enter top 800. It's a good base for him and he will be able to get into main draw in most of the futures.
Lajovic on the other hand will most likely enter top 700 next week, very nice :). For him it goes same as for Katic with that difference that Lajovic is younger and I really have good feeling about this kid, I think he'll make it :) .
Congrats to both for taking chances at home ground futures and making good base for future results. There's Krusevac challenger left this week and I hope they have enough energy left to pick up some more points. Good luck :).
