Carson is a great Challenger to go to, it's free, all of the courts are right there in one place and it's easy to see any match or practice that you want, the players all hang around and usually chat with fans. Very casual atmosphere. It kind of sucks for the players that its so open and people are always walking around during matches, but I really enjoyed going to that tournament (back in 2005). There was no food on site, but there are a few places along the roads that lead to the tennis center, or you can walk all the way over to the college campus for food.

The weather is going to be iffy, but this event replaced Waikoloa, HI on the calendar. It had to take place at a USTA site to minimize the costs. January is the one time of the year when it might actually rain in So Cal, but we had nice weather last week so hopefully they will get nice weather this week too.

i wrote such a good report and MTF didn post it ¬¬...:ras:

Well i saw Marcaccio's both matchs and then my new friend's match  Travis Rettenmaier's and some games of other matchs.

Marcaccio vs rivera, was an easy match to gustavo. he got broke on the 3rd game and then he knew how to play vs rivera. Gustavo's drive was pretty solid like his serve. Rivera started to rush over him and made a lot of mistakes..
also he started do things like gaudio :o...

Marcaccio http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5379.jpg
Rivera http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5366.jpg

then i saw some games os battistone's match, i wanted to see how that guy play and serve with that kind of raquet..
he have a pretty solid backhand with 2 hands..

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5401.jpg

Then i saw some games of Mammit's, Obradovic's, and Yovan's matchs..

mammit: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5449.jpg
La porta: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5450.jpg

Rettenmaier vs that australian (i forgot his last name)..
i dont know how that Australian guy became a pro tennis player he dont have move on the court
and his drive is the worst i have ever seen in a pro tennis player
was such an easy match for Travis.

Rettenmaier: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5439.jpg

Marcaccio vs Sitak ... :o
what a match ..
marcaccio started his first set as his firts match .. but then he didnt find his drive.. and sitak started to play lonnggg points and the crazy argie started to find a end but all the balls and he rush over them were out ¬¬..
then he started to make some double faults...
i dont ge it how he give it so easy that match :S

cachito: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5462.jpg
sitak: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm147/kai_soad/IMG_5456.jpg

well the pics i post them just the link because they are big :S sorry :wavey:

maybe some young's fun will hate me but i dont care..
young's game it depends how he wakes up.
He is a good tennis player but he needs to work more in his concentration and stay on the game.. so there are some difficult maths than he can win but some easy ones than they are a trouble for him...

I thought a than it would be a bagle vs sitak

Frank's back was hurt. Happened just before the match started. He played and served UNDERHAND and came close in the first set. He didn't want to injure his back
any further.

Why is that

On the ATP homepage there was an article about Lee 2 years ago telling that he doesn´t like to speak english and that he doesn´t really like to spend time abroad. When he stays in other cities he allways tries to get some korean food. Therefore, like he said himself, he doesn´t get into contact with many other players. :p

:yeah:

Well, that's pretty... sad  Not speaking English and not spending time abroad is very understandable, but not having much contact with other players is quite said in my opinion. Anyways, it's his life and he knows what he got to do.
