Well, Ferrer is always extremely tough but as we all know, playing against the top players seems to give Janko a lot of motivation and he ends up playing his best against them... so who knows?
I think he can do it... Ajde!! :rocker2::D

its not the worst draw, as long as he doesn't underestimate the later rounds, I'd rather see him go up against big names all the way through. we all know he does his best against the best.

Congrats Janko! :)

Me to tasted very much like to played, but what mas to tasted been the final celebration taking the t-shirt from him :hearts:.

Now his close rival is Olivier Rochus, I hope that does not spend the same thing to him of always :o, that providing that it faces a player of minor ranking after winning one top10 always it he loses. As Josep Perlas said his coach this is his its point devil, I hope that it he breaks the curse ;)

:woohoo: Jankooooooo!!!

2nd round vs O.Rochus. He's beatable. (I think they played 4 times, 3-1 for Rochus...and the only time Tips won was playing for Serbia in Davis Cup. It's for Serbia again, and Rochus is going down!!! :armed: )

Rosie I'm glad you found livestream :)
And sorry for Dima

Thanks  I never had much expectation for Dima to be honest  I know Roger isn't the player he was, but Dima is too erratic for him, and gets scared of playing him too  It's a mental thing for him :awww: At least he played a great first set anyway :)

As for Oli Rochus :help: Don't mean to be nasty :o but he is one of the few players I really do not like:o Sorry -can't help it:shrug: So - please Janko - BEAT him  :secret: and then take your shirt off again afterwards

:) yay, he won! There were some odd timeouts from him, probably the ankle but he redeemed by ripping his shirt and roaring at GSM. Good luck against Rochus (he looks like a Canadian kachina doll). Tipsy's only won 2 of the 5 matches they've played but they're all vr close matches, especially on hard court except for one he won (6-2 6-0), they haven't played against each other since rotterdam last year as well. Hopefully I've come up with enough reasons for him to win... now it just has to come true!

There's an interview in today's papers here.

He sad: 'Now I know how Ana felt when she withdrew. Maybe it's too hard word to say that this is the worst day in my life, but it is certainly the worst day of my career...Olympic Games mean a lot to every sportsman, especially as they take place once in 4 years. I played really well in my first match, my confidence was on the highest level, and I felt I could reach far. But sometimes things like this happen and you just can't do anything about it.'
:awww:

This is the fourth time he injured that ankle, after Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Cincinnati.

He said his ankle was so big after, like he had a tennis ball in it :awww:
If he only twisted it, he'll go to NY, and if it's worse, he'll go to Barcelona or Belgrade.

Get well Janko
