Impressive form reversal in the last two weeks for Filippo Volandri, winning two big challengers back-to-back

He beat Oscar Hernandez today in the final of Cordenons CH (EUR 85K): 6-3 7-5

Last week he won San Marino challenger defeating Starace in the final.

I think he is back in the top-100 with these results.

yes, he will reenter top100 when the points from Canada/Cincy come off I think
he'll check the knee that gave him problems earlier this year in the next 2 weeks. It's not for sure that he'll need surgery like it was said before

good effort. looked like he was finished less than a month ago. lost 8 in a row between Barcelona and Umag.

This was really a 9 match winning streak, hernandez tanked it.

In all seriousness though thats brilliant for him finally getting the right kind of results even if it is in challengers.

Ma che bravo! E' davvero un mito...infatti scommetto che Nadal si sta pisciando addosso proprio in questo momento. Che paura!

Just what he needed for some confidence.

I hope he at least said a big THANK YOU to Minar for his ultra-choking mug performance in the 2nd round.

His knee seems to be better, or at least tolerable. Needless to say I'm very happy.

Yeah but what I mean was a whole paragraph of five lines or so. True, could have said the same in five words but hell, everyone is entitled to his/her own style.

Nice by Volandri, even though he had to beat the King.
