They played in Cinci in 2006 when Haas was in better form and Nadal was in worse form. Nadal won that match: 7-6, 6-3. Let's call it: 6-4, 6-2 this time.

affirmative. the real question that should be asked is how many games can Haas win.

4-6 is about right. at best, if Haas serves out of his mind on this very fast hard court surface, the first set may end up being decided by a tiebreaker.

Nadal will then take the 2nd set 6-1 or 6-2.

Yes just like Fed he has the game. But just like Fed too I'm afraid he'll not have the brain/guts/mental to win.

Tommy will give a fight.

Yea because thats the only reason he wins matches

It could be close but Nadal is too hot right now i don't think anything Haas can throw at Rafa will make much of a difference but would be good to see an upset.

Tommy is practicing the intimidated look on his face as we speak to oblige some fans. The word is he can still hit beautifully from both wings while maintaining it, but will have to forfeit it on net approaches and second serves to maintain maximum concentration. :p

He takes this in straight sets. Come on Tommy, don't let me down!

just look at how scared to death you are of the Clay Monster. you will pray for him to lose against anyone if posible. you will even kill to see him lose just so Fed can win this and keep his rankings for another day.

thats like alms thrown to a beggar in order that his misery can be prolonged for another day.

you got a monster in his prime against a player pushing 31. you do the math.

We've already established Tommy will do his best to keep the intimidated face on to please some of you guys, so no need to get upset about the fact that he'll bring some of his weapons on court too ;)

I can't see Haas beeing able to do anything with Rafa.

Kiefer was having a great tournament in Toronto and look what the Clay Monster did to him in the final.

Haas does have a chance for a close opening set but after that, it should be all Nadal.

You claim to have watched tennis for a few years so you should know all good runs come to an end eventually.
Some even simpler maths for you - Nadal will lose a match soon.

Haas has chances to win this just face it. I know he probably won't but I'm not going to blindly jump on the Nadal bandwagon and believe he'll win every match he's supposed to.

Nadal`s achievements can hardly be considered "bandwagon" stuff. isnt it time you recognize his greatness or do you want to conitnue to wander in the darkness.

the guy is barely 22 and he has 30 titles. he has 5 slams already and 12 masters shields (thats 1 more than Sampras for his entire career).

he has single-handedly brought the greatest in history to his knees. he has him 12-6 head-to-head. he leads him 11-4 in finals and he has him in 4 of 6 slams.

do you really believe this is "bandwagon" stuff. are you even watching the same sport.

he is 62-7 for the year and is winning on all surfaces.

i actually want the Mallorcan Monster to lose so he can go home and rest since he is hell bent on going to the olympics.

he needs rest at this point. no need to take a chance on injury due to fatigue.

Haas has all the weapons to beat Nadal on a hardcourt, but watch him lose his mind and accept defeat when he faces his first break point in the match.

Perhaps Nadal's recent achievements cannot be considered *bandwagon stuff* but your actions on the forum and a few others does suggest there is some bandwagoning taking place here. Arrogant threads like "who can stop Nadal" and "who can help Federer" . I don't know who you think your fooling saying your trying to encourage discussion when your really just gloating over his victories... a player you said was struggling earlier in the year. Are you sure you didn't start watching tennis in Indian Wells 2007?

I am a fan of Nadal, but the way you and a few others go on sometimes...your no better then the Fed or Djoker fanatics.

Come on mate tone it down a little bit.

Don't worry, I have Clay Death's great post after the Ferrero defeat where he said Nadal needs to do more gym work to compete. He knows not to get out of hand with the gloating, though he is pushing his luck ;)
