Becker had a set and a 4-2 lead. Then had 3-1 and 6-5, a match point, in the tiebreak. Serra broke in the first game of the third. Becker broke back immediately but then double-faulted his way to being down a break once again. Florent needed no more invitations.

Thanks a lot Benjamin! 700 down the drain.

Just by looking at the score or reading my overview, you'd see that it was a set and a break lead. If that's not a big lead, I don't know what is. :retard:

Sorry, I was wrong. The correct asshole response to your question was:

Since when is a set and a break up not a big lead? :p

What about a set and 5-2 or 4-0?

4-2 (a break with serving second) is a lead you can blow easily and we can see it many times. :)

I really like Benjamin Becker personally, and hope he returns to top 40 form soon...

I'm sure you'll get your vcash back by starting a million post-match threads.

becker will never get near the top 40 again. with a college degree under his belt I can't see him having the drive to do it (even if he did have the talent which is questionable)

Well, poor Serra who had to kill himself in the heat will be nice and ripe for Rafa tomorrow.

Totally agree with your feelings, osalsyst.

This Bekker is a comic actor.

They say what's wrong with 4 2 lead and wasting it? I can tell ya, Becker never faced a single breakpoint before he lost his serve to make it 4 all.

And he wasted 30* lead in the tie-break.

Personally i believe that since he lost that 2nd set, he was gone.

Unfortunately.

You can see that Becker isn't the best of 3 setters on tour.
