Cincy QF - Defeated Nicolas Lapentti 7-6 6-1

1) Spanish mafia running the ATP, why does Nadal keep getting night matches and avoiding the Cincy heat?
2) Lapentti choked away every single break point opportunity.
3) Tennis is dead.

Cincy R3 - Defeated Tommy Haas 6-4 7-6

1) Haas fell apart like a helpless poodle fighting a lion in the tie break (and choked).
2) FakerNadal pulled another win with cheeeating. Was taking waaay too much time before 1st serve, before 1st and 2nd .. Haas just got sick of it at the end.
3) Everyone on tour is just scared of Rafa.
4) Old and feeble Haas is coming off a poor injury filled year.

Cincy R2 - Defeated Florent Serra 6-0 6-1

1) Serra is a very easy match-up for Nadal.
2) Serra is one of the tour's ultra-mugs.
3) They should fine Serra for a lack of effort.
4) Never seen anyone play as horrible as Serra did today.
5) Almagro gave Serra tips on how to bend over for Nadal.

Toronto F - Defeated Nicolas Kiefer 6-3 6-2

1) Cakewalk draw.
2) Mug era.
3) Kiefer only turned up for 1 game.
4) Nadal got lucky that Kiefer can't perform in finals.

Toronto SF - Defeated Andy Murray 7-6 6-3

1) Murray is a pansy.
2) Murray isn't used to playing aggressive tennis, so he wasn't able to keep up a high level throughout.
3) Umpire screwed Murray by not letting him have an injury timeout when he wanted one.
4) Toronto is on blue clay.
5) Ridiculous match, Nadull hit 9 or maybe 10 (if we're being generous) winners.

Toronto QF - Defeated Richard Gasquet 6-7 6-2 6-1

1) Pathetic from Gasquet in the last 2 sets, he bent over for Nadal after winning the first.
2) Gasquet was exhausted after the epic first set, he should have won.
3) Match was on Richie's racquet, couldn't quite pull it off in the end. If he was playing at his peak level he'd have destroyed Nadal.
4) Nadal was just lucky Gasquet's game and fitness are still developing.

Toronto R3 - Defeated Igor Andreev 6-2 7-6

1) Bad from Andreev.
2) Igor got injured early on.
3) Andreev was too tired after reaching 2 finals in the last 2 weeks.

Toronto R2 - Defeated Jesse Levine 6-4 6-2

1) Levine is a mental midget.
2) Too many errors at crucial times from Levine, he controlled the match though.
3) Undeserved win, Levine hit many more winners.

Despite being a clown on the surface, the little piggy has fluked his way to too many wins on the surface for me to go back through every thread. So we shall start from Toronto

Props to Pfloyd for the idea :worship:

Adam, I think this thread should honor KaxMisha and his logical reasoning in the first post. The default maxim of Nadal on HardCourts should be stated

" Let it be known that if Nadal plays Player X at his best on hard courts he will never win. The fact that he has done so indicates that Player X has not played his best"

At times I question whether several of Nadal's so-called fans are actual supporters of his or people merely using him as an outlet for their frustrations, his success being used as a weapon with which to combat other players that have beaten their favorites in the past.

Some are better at masking their true feelings, while others are fans of Andy Roddick, Andy Murray, Guillermo Coria and so forth -- of course we all know who the true fans are, but where one finds legions of supporters there should always be suspicion.

At any rate, there's no need for excuses; Nadal has simply been playing solid tennis; therefore, his fans both authentic and faux alike, deserve to enjoy this period in his career.

We are not disgusting Glory Hunters like the Fedtars , aka fans of the player who was winning everything when I became in a tennis fanatic (after the fifth GS won by Rogelia)
It´s pretty clear that most of Federer supporters (I´d say 98%) are bandwagonjumpers , while most of the Rafatards are supporters of Nadal since the beginning

The proof of how disgusting GHs are the Fedtards is that some fanatics like RonE , Rogiman , Kax Misha , UdaciRoger and many others have left MTF at the same time that the declining of FedMug began :D

Noted.

Isn't it mildly amusing that despite having given credit to Nadal for his performance over the last few months I'm being accused of trolling ?

I just take issue with faux supporters of Nadal, mostly because they were suffering from heartache until he came along and blemished what had been an impeccable career on the part of Roger Federer and no, I'm not lamenting this fact, but simply acknowledging what has taken place equates to calling a spade a spade.

The fact remains that nothing is going to resurrect the career of Guillermo Coria and Andy Roddick is not winning another Grand Slam in the near future, so I'd say that the damage is done for the most part.

Seriously, I fing it amazing, how easily a natural claycourter is bullying others on hardcourt...it's not like he's doing anything special (e.g.hitting winners from everywhere). All he needs to do is to bring the ball back to play and wait for the mug on the other side of the net to miss another short ball...where are all the great hardcourt players gone? Why I don't see serve and volley anymore on constant basis? Or maybe majority of his opponents surrender before match...if so, then it's really not good for the tennis:sad:

on the other hand, nadal is SUPREME! He's laughing right now. The only guys he's scared of facing would be murray, fed and djoko! but these last two guys are struggling with confidence and nadal isn't!

heh heh... nice one...

i hear the mafia are talking with davydenko so its no wonder this has coincided with a dip in form...

dont wanna get too excited... but, if murray scores another win over djok... or one over fed or nadal pre USO... then... he has rights to start 2nd or 3rd fave in that event in my opinion... could be his best chance yet to reach a GS final...

If Murray is the second best player in the world right now then the tour may as well shut down. Murray will always lose to his idol Nadal.

Every single player on the tour except for Djokovic, Tsonga and Youzhny, possibly Davydenko, Ferrer and Berdych also are all terrified of Nadal even on hardcourts.

There surely have never been more mugs on tour than at present.

Olympics semi final:
Nadal def. Djokovic 6-4, 1-6, 6-4

1) If it werent for that match point Djoko wasted he would´ve gone on to win the match.
2) Nadal got lucky.
3) Nadal is still all defense and forces his opponents for the errors, hence he dosent really beat them, they beat themselves.
4) Djokovic was more tired than Nadal, and more nervous towards the end.
5) Gold dosent really matter, the US Open is more important, Djoko will win that for sure.
6) The crowd screaming distracted Djokovic, more so than it did Nadal, causing Djokovic to lose concentration.

Maybe if Rafa wins the gold medal there will be new excute.

See the interview form Nole (part):

Q. The final shot at the end, I presume you just couldn't believe you missed it?
NOVAK DJOKOVIC: Yeah, well, these shots, you just have to make them, you know, without thinking. My legs stopped and I heard the people screaming during both of the overheads I had. So a bit distractions and the negative outcome.

So maybe you can add this:
The crowd scream and let Djokovic lose distraction and finally he lost the final shot.

Gonzalez was seriously affected by the Blake affair
Gonzalez choked when he had 2 set balls

OMG! This is an easy one to figure out. Simon can't really beat Nadal when Nadal is not tired out from a long year, and Verdasco did him a favor by knocking out Tsonga and Murray then DFing on match point. Federer just rolled over for Nadal because he wanted to show the world again how much of a pansy he is by crying when he loses a GS final. Duh. Nadal didn't REALLY win a hard court match or title.
