Very easy win. Tommy made nearly no errors but of course Moya wasn't really on the court. No chance.

Total beatdown. Haas very, very good, Moya very bad.

Great performance from Haas, best I've seen him play in a while. He's had alot of injuries so I thought he'd me more rusty, but obviously not. As for Moya, he just seems so slow and was very poor today. I wouldn't be surprised to see him call it a day in the next year or two.

maybe charlie should retire  he was so sluggish out there today. Haas, on the other hand, still has some pop. :) me like see tommy play long time.

Well Done Tommy. Still kicking some serious Haas on the tour.

 :yeah:

Not a surprising win but I recall Haas having a mid-match meltdown last week, so hopefully whatever was troubling him then won't be an issue this week. As for Moya, this year is almost a complete reversal of the last one when he was playing so well, especially on faster surfaces, and seemed to be turning back the years...

Moya was atrocious today. He was never in the match at all. No surprises here.

Oh gosh, let me take a guess...

1. Their rankings are still good enough to get them direct entry into ATP main draws.

2. They are still competitive enough of the time that it makes it worth the effort to show up and play.

3. They enjoy playing tennis.

4. They don't want to retire yet.

Did I get it right? Is there a prize?

Damn, so close! If you had found FIVE reasons you would have won the toaster oven.

As it is....you are the weakest link. Goodbye! :)

Carlos played badly, but Tommy today played a great tennis, but the type play matches like that and to the following one he lowers the level totally. If he could seat the level that showed today for example, and deploy more constant since his natural level would be the ideal, but.......... .Tommy is very virtuos, only he has to exploit more his acceleration of shots as like he it did today. ;)

Carlos should think of finish his carrer soon, really he is starting making sad. :(

Nice to see Tommy playing so well but it was painfully sad to watch Moya out there attempting to play tennis. I normally hate the "so and so should retire" bandwagoning that seems to go on here, but I really think Moya's time is getting nearer :awww:

Let's get honest, that thing only started with this stupid thread. I still think Carlos himself knows the best when it's time to retire.
