Well done Tommy,

the first set was a little cold for you but in the second you did and amazing job. Good forehands. It`t time to be back in top 10 and you can do it!

If robredo makes it back into the top 10 it is a disgrace to the top 10

Did you watch the match? Tommy played a very complete 2nd set; after holding on a very good 1st, Niemeyer was left with no options.

I'd rather judge Tommy by the way he's playing right now.

I only watched the majority of the second set because I was watching Gonzalez, but he did look excellent. Maybe he'll have a good hard court season, which is rare for him.

you better shut up, your words are a disgrace for your reputation.

( this is a polite version, the original post was deleted by MTF censor in chief moderator RagingLamb for use of allegedly insulting words)

i really do not understand why people do not like him , i mean i am not a fan of him but at least u can respect that he fights on the court, that alone is quality to me in sports, players who do not give up

He has given up pretty pathetically during some matches.

Oh boy, here we go again!!! Don't people have anything else more important to do then bashing players, whoever they are??? I wonder!!!

And Tommy's playing well and solid!!! So he can get back to Top 10 and that will be a blessing, not a disgrace!!! :p

P.S. For the haters out there: why not finding some player to support instead of bashing them!!!

He never gives up, he sometimes chokes badly. Two very different things.

i rather see a guy like Robredo succeed than Simon, honeslty i can recall a match that i watched where Robredo did not give a good effort

losses like these are not proof that he did not try to give his best on the court so i cant see this underlining your point of him giving up

he has some bad losses yeah but again they are much worse pathetic players on the tour than tommy

Well done Tommy and I hope he wins his next match just to annoy the haters on GM who don't know what good tennis is even if it smacks them in the face. Vamos Tommy: banana: :yippee:

Absolutely :yeah: I can only say I saw some of the mentionned matches and for example in the match against Nalbandian (which was in Monte Carlo this year) Tommy really tried everything to win, but Nalbandian was just playing like from another planet on that day! He was getting every single shot in and Tommy really was frustrated, because everything he tried did not work :(

Looking forward to the day when Tommy will be Top 10 again :bounce:
