I just saw the draw thread on GM:

[13] Verdasco vs Bellucci
Canas vs Soderling
Dancevic vs Ancic
BYE vs [3] Djokovic

Heres hoping hes able to smoke them in Canada :)

 this is a tough draw...
If he gets past Soderling there will probably be Verdasco waiting...

yeah it is a very bad draw indeed . I am starting to believe he is jinxed or something, too much bad luck

Soderling has been playing well of late. Hope Willy has had time to adjust to the court and his serve is going to work.

Is the schedule out yet?

No, of course there is some luck involved, but mainly that's because his ranking went down.
I'm not expecting much. Hope he proves me wrong, but Soderling, Verdasco and Djokovic... :scared:

At least he managed to hold serve 4 times in a row getting being broken.

ok I guess we could all say that we saw this coming so as you said good luck in cincinati

I feel really sad for him . I got to watch the last five minutes of the match. The first set looked competitive. What happened in the 2nd set?

Onto Cincy hopefully he will stick around in Toronto for a couple of days. He can go out with Carlitos. Look out ladies.

I saw the 1st set before going to bed and taped the 2nd...
This is bad news to wake up to

1st set was pretty even, but the serve didn't work out at all and that's the big problem I'd say. At 5-4 he was at at 1st serve% of not even 25%

He didn't have any points to defend here so let's hope he doesn't lose faith and has a better run in Cincy

Soderling was a big mess at the beginning, ufes all over especially off the bh, seemed like if Willy could just hang in there he could do it, then to his credit Soderling pulled himself together big time, Wills was grousing about line calls, prolly frustrated by Soderling's rebound... pffffft. 9 games in a row.

But now he'll get to Cincinnati before everyone else so he should be plenty prepared. :p

Thanks for the match highlights or lack off. I hope he doesn't lose faith either.
